Easy to keep clean
I got he Bolna to replace my previous bidet which was hard to clean. The trouble spot is the gap between the spray nozzles and the splash guard. Backsplash can still get to that spot and you want to keep it lean and sanitary. On the Bolina bidet, the splach guard flips out so that both sides of it can be cleaned easily. With the old bidet i had to uninstall and use an old toothbrush to scrub the gap. I have to give credit to the Bolina designers for solving this problem. The Bolina has a cmpination of buttons and dial controls. The dial is for the strength of the stream and the buttons are for front wash, rear wash and nozzle clean. There is also a stop button. Ilike this over the old bidet, which only had a twist. The problem with the twist-only is that sometimes it would not get fully shut off and a slow trickle of water would be going into the bowl, being wasteful. With the Bolina off is off. This has been a great replacement. It is thin enough that seat risers are not necessary. Iam so glad to have it.

This bidet is very durable and the buttons function very well!
This bidet actually feels very sturdy and was easy to install. It comes with all the pieces needed including the attachment for a quick and easy install. Once installed, you can adjust the spray nozzle direction and the the buttons function really well which I wasn't too sure about it when I ordered it. With the buttons, you are able to choose what nozzle to use since it's a dual nozzle and you can adjust the pressure of the spray when using it. It is very well built and I am very happy with this purchase. I recommend this bidet! The price is very nice for a durable and top quality bidet.

You'll Wonder How You Lived Without This
Wow. I didn't realize how much of a barbarian I was until I used this. Bowl night light, soft closing lid and seat, heated seat, heated water, heated air dryer, and oscillating adjustable water sprayer; how did I manage hygeine without this? While there is a knob on the side of the bidet you can use to activate it, almost all of the functions and settings are accessed through the remote control. The remote comes with a wall mount and necessary screws, but its just a holding bracket; the remote requires two AAA batteries, which are not included, and if you don't want to use the remote's bracket you don't have to.Installation was a simple and easy process. You'll need a phillips screwdriver to intall the bidet's mounting bracket, but that's all. You remove your old toilet seat and lay down the included paper toilet seat silhouette. Your toilet's screw holes need to be between the silhouette's bracket placement cutout, and the silhouette's front end shouldn't extend past the front end of your toilet. Once you found where you're going to place your mounting bracket, and your toilet's screw holes fit within the two open spaces on either side of the bracket, its time to install it. You push the expansion bolts down into the toilet's screw holes, then you lay down the metal screw brackets down on their rails and put the mounting screws through the brackets and down into the expansion bolts. I found it helps to push the expansion bolts up from below while screwing the screws down into them. Screw each side in a little bit at a time and make adjustments as needed. Once your bidet mounting bracket is secure, you SLIDE the bidet seat forward onto the bracket. It will make a click sound when its fully seated. There are two methods listed in the manual for installing the included metal t-valve splitter that supplies water to the bidet. I used the second listed method, where you attach the metal t-valve to the base of the toilet's tank instead of near the water cutoff. The t-valve was super easy to install, I did all of it by hand, and I hand-tightened everything up easily with no leaks. I strongly recommend shutting off the water, flushing the toilet, and then holding down the flush handle to drain as much water left over in tank as possible down into the bowl. This will lessen the water mess you will have to contend with. I cannot overstate this enough: DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN ANYTHING! Once the bidet seat is secure and the water line is connected, it's time to plug it in. The power cord is short, only about 3 feet. You will probably need an extension cord or power strip to connect it to. I had to buy a power strip, run it from my bathroom sink's power outlet, and then mount it to the wall above my toilet using adhesive mounting strips.I think that this bidet's a great option if you're interested in buying one. Installation was very easy. I'm pretty sure I had more trouble removing my old toilet seat than installing the bidet. The whole process, from removal to install, took me (a hopeless novice at plumbing) about an hour to complete. My only complaint has to be the reliance on the remote to access its functions and settings. If the batteries die, or you lose or damage the remote, you only have the knob on the side to access its basic functions.

Just what I need
My family and I lived in Japan for almost eight years before coming back home to Texas, and I can say that we are already accustomed to their culture, including bidets in public restrooms (especially in malls). So, when I saw this, I immediately ordered it and installed it. The installation process was easy, I did it all by myself. I love that there’s a remote control to access the bidet’s many wonderful features.Everything is perfect except for the size. I just hope that the opening is a bit bigger, maybe I just need to replace my toilet with a bigger one. I'm scared that it will not hold heavy-weighted people and break it. I cannot speak for the sturdiness of it at this moment, as it’s pretty newly installed and everyone in my family is under 170 lbs. Overall, this is a great value bidet. You don't need to break the bank when purchasing a smart bidet like this.
