Great Idea... Poor design!!
Great idea... poor design. The actual plate is well built. The LED strip clips on bottom and is OK. The female connecting plug will only conduct power when bent a certain way. Some of the colors don't work and some of the functions (blink, fade, ect.) only work with certain colors. This is by far the most disappointing product purchased through Amazon. Should be very simple to get right but the poor design prevents good execution.

Works great very bright
Works great very bright! I like the flash, strobe, fade and Smooth features. Very cool you can change too many different colors. However cord is way too short for most vehicles to get to USB plug in. Had to get USB extender cord. Also now after having about a week some of the color buttons make it different colors than what you are pushing and a couple don't work.

Very bright at night
Love having this light in my car. When driving at night, the light is too bright and distracting to keep on, so I turn the light on when I'm about a block or two from picking up my passengers. Otherwise, you could easily get into a crash because the light at night seems to block your full view of oncoming traffic. But it works great and I highly recommend it to all Lyft or Uber drivers!Be sure to look up your local or state laws on having blue or red lights in your car. I picked a more purple color and left it on that setting to make sure I didn't get pulled over for having a blue light in my car.

I used a little black electrical tape to hold it and it's fine. A tighter connection would be helpful

A tighter connection would be helpful.I get a lot of compliments on this from passengers. I bought it for New Years Eve but use it every night I drive. Helpful when pulling up to a crowded event or club area and can call the passenger and tell them you're car with a blue light in your window (Or pink or whatever color you want). I usually do blue for uber passengers and pink for lyft.

Cool idea but blue inoperable
Cool idea, but when mine arrived the blue LED did not work at all, rendering most of the colours red.

Does not work
From the beggining the it would not light up. We had to figgit with it for a long time to get it to light up. We had to tape it in just the right spot for it to work. The colors worked for about 5 days and then only the green, red and white would work. I had everything taped in place (did not come with anything to mount it with) and I had to take it down and now none of it will work. This is a waste of your money.

Poorly crafted but works 1/2 the time
Riders think it is cool... when it works.The plug from sign to power adapter falls out very easily.The remote control is spotty and the buttons are labeled incorrectly. The off button turns it on, the on button turns it off, and the colors are all labeled incorrectly too.I would not buy this ansecond time. Only reason I didn’t return it is because I through away packaging on accident.

DO NOT BUY!!
Do not buy. Had it 4 months and the wires broke off where it goes into the light. Emailed supplier 2 times and they told me they would give me a refund or replace it haven't seen neither. Look for a different one. It was nice when it worked. Got a lot of complements on it.
