USB 3.0 for a Great Price
If I had to sum up the Transcend 8GB USB 3.0 flash drive it would be this. "Boy, is it Fast!". I'm upgrading from my 4GB Transcend 2.0 JetFlash V30 flash drive that would write at an average of 5 MB/s and read at 15 MB/s. Not too bad for a three year old flash drive. Upgrading to the new USB 3.0 is a breath of fresh air. Files write 3 times faster, an average of 15MB/s using my USB 3.0 port! The flash drive is even fast on USB 2.0, I got an average of 12 MB/s. It's also extremely portable and is probably just as durable as my older Transcend, which took quite a beating and is still kicking. Transcend has made a great product at a great price. I highly recomend this product.

Could have given a string attached to the pen drive - I have got it earlier with a transcend pen drive. Anyway, its a good one.

Fast, Fast, fast
Very Fast USB Flash drive, used it to create a bootable stick for Mac OSX. Both the price and the functionality met all of my expectations.

Great Flash Drive
If your looking into a flash drive that allows for fast up and downloading speeds and money is not too big of an issue, this would be a good investment. Works with USB 2.0 hubs, and if you do not have one, for about 20-30 bucks you can buy one to install to your computer.If you are just looking for a USB flash drive, I wouldn't reconment this because for a price difference of 10 bucks, you can fill the flash drive in less than 15 seconds compared to a minute and a half or so. But if money is not a problem, go for it! Once it is cheeper, this is the next thing that everyone will have

Not all that it's piped up to be.
It works fast, but it is much slower than it is advertised. When I received the flash drives I had bought, I noticed that the package did NOT say 15 MB/s write speed. Instead, it said that it had 5 MB/s write speed. This reading is fairly accurate as my computer (mid to high end) typically runs from 5 - 6.8 MB/s. It would be nice to get what I thought I paid for.

Booting Linux Puppy
Works great, arrived in good time. I used it to boot Puppy Linux. Don't remember the time, but boots in well under 1 minute!

Fast little flash drive
Great write/read speeds. Does what it supposed to. Doesn't disappoint. If you need a flash drive buy this one, my only regret is that I didn't buy a bigger capacity.
