Consciot LED Vanity Lights for Mirror, Hollywood Style Dimmable Light Strip

We have a small space and I don’t have room for a vanity so I’ve had to carve out this little corner and it works just fine…except it’s super dark. These lights are perfect, they fit our existing mirror perfectly and installation was super easy and honestly kind of fun (but I’m weird). Three light temperatures are great for varying needs, they’re super bright if you want and dimmable as well. The adhesive is very sticky and I had some trouble peeling off some of the backings, but once they’re there…they’re there for good. You definitely have to plan out your attack ahead of time and make sure you’re sticking them down exactly where you want them. Anyways, a great solution for my annoying problem, and a super low budget fix!

This was a great cheaper alternative to buying the large circle lights, or a whole new vanity mirror. I do wish they came in different string colors, as the white stands out on my gold mirror. However- no one is in my bedroom looking for interior decorating issues so I can overlook that. The lights are bright, multiple light tone options and you can adjust the brightness. They were easy to put on and so far have stayed put for about a month on a painted surface.

*PURCHASE REASON: I wanted to have more light when doing my makeup (have windows on the opposite wall that expose natural light, but vanity does not fit over there). I also wanted multiple light temperatures and brightness settings. Instead of buying a brand new mirror, I thought this was a way better alternative! *FAVORITE FEATURE(s): The amount of lighting options! You have 3 different temperatures with different levels of brightness settings for each, fitting a number of different scenarios. *PROS: -Various light settings for multiple situations -Perfect length for my mirror (IKEA LINDBYN) -USB attachment (doesn't take up lots of space like a normal outlet would) -Decent adhesive *CONS: -N/A *RECOMMENDATIONS FOR MANUFACTURER: N/A *RECOMMENDATIONS FOR OTHER BUYERS: Make sure you place the adhesives flat against the surface of your mirror or else it won't stay! Also press hard enough to make sure they'll stick long, but not too hard to where you can damage the mirror. *REASON FOR STARS: 5 STARS because I feel like a spoiled gorgeous woman, every one should be able to feel like this when getting ready!

I hated that the strips were white. My mirror frame is an ornate old silver, so...it stood out, no matter how I tried - directly on mirror, on the frame, on the wall around the framing... The walls aren't even white enough, so it still stood out 😂. So, I used a silver Sharpie on the white, with silver metallic craft paint on top (it was too thin/sheer by itself and needed something to adhere to, so still needed the Sharpie base). I did this - including the edges - before seperating the pieces. Used rubbing alcohol to clean up whatever got on the bulb covers. Now it pretty much matches the frame! Also, twisted the wires to shorten it up between the pieces a bit. I didn't put it on the mirror, but on the inside of the frame. I do NOT recommend painting the switch, though, with the buttons. [TIP: Tape the pieces first (like with painter's tape, scotch tape) to determine placing and spacing FIRST!!! And BEFORE removing the adhesive protectives on the back of it! You want to stick it only ONCE, if you actually want the full adhesive power!] I did want wired.... But I absolutely loathe that it's a USB end. Now I have to purchase a plug for it, as it's the only item in the bathroom needing one. Everything else is with an attached adapter. I did read it's USB-end, and the reviews were solid enough to give it a try anyway over all over similar products. I do NOT find USB ends convenient - rather a PITA - but looks like that's the modern "trend" now for absolutely everything under the sky, whether sensible or not. Ugh. Neg. 1 star for that! I got these to supplement lighting for even makeup application and love that the brightness is adjustable, as well as the tone (warm, cool, mixed). For its purpose, it's bright enough... Especially with lighting on the other side of the bathroom illuminating the room, as well. If it were the standalone lighting for makeup, yes I could see why some would not think it's bright enough. If it weren't for makeup and just ambient decor, putting the lights behind that ornate frame would be absolutely wicked looking!! Even for not, it still looks great!

Love this for my mirror, easy to install and love the different lighting options, definitely worth it.

Lights are great, adhesive is not. Bought these in April, stuck them around a mirror and they lasted about 6 months before they started falling off the mirror. It's now November and all of them keep falling off. They were cheap enough to just throw in the trash now. I bought others YEARS ago, and they are still sticking to mirror in bathroom with zero issues. To the manufacturer - a better adhesive will make a better product that lasts. To the consumer - these are great for temporary lighting that you don't intend on needing past 6-7 months. Also, get some Goo-Be-Gone to clean your mirror of adhesive residue after they fall off, they made a mess.

These lights are awesome and make me feel like a glam girl while getting ready. There’s a terrible glare in the photos bc I have the brightness all the way up. I would definitely buy these again. So easy to put up. I would advise you although the adhesive is perforated, to take scissors and cut right down the tear line and it made it so easy. They have been up a full 24 hours at this point and have stayed where I put them. Make sure you clean the surface good before adding your lights! Highly recommend these!
