Insurrection Pure By Reyane Tradition

Not going to compare this to Aventus, this review is on this product on it's own. If I had to compare this to a designer scent I would say it's somewhat similar to Gucci by Gucci (now known as just Gucci pour homme) with birch added to it. It's about department store designer fragrance quality to it. For some that is not good at all, but for 99% of people they will never know or appreciate $500 niche quality fragrances. I can see why others say this is a year round fragrance. I imagine in the heat the freshness will stand out, whereas in the winter the smoky birch will stand out more. I would personally use this as a daytime/warm weather fragrance, I prefer a more incense/frankincense smoky in the winter such as acqua di gio profumo. I also prefer a fresher fruity vanilla like versace eros in the dead hot summer or a fruity aquatic like bleu de chanel. This is a good spring scent to match the freshness in bloom and a better fall scent to match the smoky feel to the changing colors. I would not recommend this as a work fragrance because it is very strong, unless you use one spray as a mist over you to keep it weak. I prefer softer, somewhat inoffensive (some may say generic) scents for work like boss the scent or the previously mentioned gucci by gucci. The workplace is not a place for a loud fragrance. This fragrance will get noticed, it is unique in a way. It's along the lines of common scents, but it straddles that line with a very loud smoky birch. That being said I do recommend a purchase if the way I've described it sounds like a hit for you. The bottle and packaging are beautiful and so far work wonderfully. The spayer let's out a consistent stream and feels sturdy. I bought directly from Amazon and can attest that the product I received was in original packaging and authentic from this posting. I know there are many others posting with similar prices, I can't speak for them, but this one is legit. Also, I received it 4 business days after purchasing it with free 5-8 day shipping with an order over $49 and the option for as few shipments as possible. I actually got it alone and the day I received it I got an email saying everything else I ordered is just now being shipped and will arrive in 3 more business days. I wasn't expecting such fast shipping. Within hours it was on it's way from southern Florida. Thanks for reading my review, I wish you the best. Also, try acqua di gio profumo, it's by far the best fragrance I've ever smelled. It's relatively expensive but worth every penny. It never fails to get compliments and I love getting a scent of it throughout the day.

5 stars, good scent

As someone who has over 400 full bottles in their collection, and over 1000 including decants, samples etc, I think I have a pretty good idea about clones/smellalikes and just fragrance in general. I always lol when I see top 10 panty dropper videos, top compliment videos etc, because although I wear cologne nearly every day, I almost NEVER get compliments. However, the few times I've worn this I have gotten a compliment EVERY time. Yes, it does smell like Aventus (at the top and mid) but this goes into a different category near the bottom and that's where I think this one is special as opposed to other "clones". To my nose, this starts as Aventus and ends up nearly identical to Chanel's Pour Monsieur dry down which is a powdery-lemon type scent. This projects like crazy for the first hour then settles down to within a foot for the next 24 hours. In fact, I would go as far as to say that this is in my top 5 of longest-lasting scents, regardless of price. What I love about this one in particular is that it's not quite as smokey as Aventus, a bit sweeter. If you're looking for an inexpensive blind buy you won't regret, this is it. I personally hate the box it comes in and trashed it immediately but that's a personal preference. I will give this a strong 9.5/10. Shipping from Amazon was perfect as always, and it was packaged carefully etc etc. As far as clones of Aventus go, I do prefer this one to CLDMI, the other "it" clone of the moment. Fresco was terrible IMO. Enjoy!
