This is an excellent and stylish looking radio which tunes into multiple DAB/FM stations. Once the internal battery is charged up, the radio easily lasts for several hours. However, if you leave the radio in standby with the screen on it quickly discharges.

Excellent radio for speech. I bought this to only listen to talk radio stations on and it is perfect for this. I listen in bed, sometimes all night, so clarity at low volume is needed and this is great for that. Brilliant to have 5 large individual dedicated saved favourite buttons, makes it simple to switch between stations in the dark. Battery life is excellent, easily lasting 12 hours on dab with volume & screen brightness both set to low. I recharge it every morning with a battery pack, which I top up with a small solar panel in my window, this makes it free to run. My only criticism is that you can't completely turn off the screen light, which is annoying when tying to nodd off in the dark. My low-tech solution involves a small bit of cardboard and sellotape, which works fine but it would be great to have a timed screen auto-off function and auto-on as soon as one touches any of the buttons, that would make this 5 stars. Not so great for music, as there's virtually no bass. Overall EXCELLENT talk radio.

This all-round amazing radio has it all, DAB - FM - Bluetooth pairing mode still to try. I brought this Azatom for the Premiership football ⚽ as the local BBC stop's board casting their coverage of games over the internet but not FM/DAB hence this radio B1. Excellent build quality, saying that the Ariel is very long and a little too easy to bend when closing down but honestly I have no need to extend beyond halfway, very easy to set up and operate and most importantly the sound is amazing, I tested the speak on full on a music station and very little disruption to the sound and when radio is on a football or cricket 🏏 commentary again is so clear at any level 🎚️ this portable/solid and easy to use radio with excellent 👌 sounds will not disappoint and most importantly brilliant value. Update on battery life, yes could be a little better on DAB but you can charge battery 🔋 and listen to radio 📻 at the same time.

Seems great so far. Sound isn't amazing, not much bass, but good for the price. Easy to use, buttons on top are handing and vol control is nice.

Over all this D.A.B radio offers very good value for money, it is intuitive to use, with the ability to set up and store 20 D.A.B stations, and 20 F.M stations independently of each other, with quick and easy access to either. There are two alarms that can be set with the choice of radio or buzzer to wake you, the alarms fade up to a maximum volume set by you, which is a nice option to have. Both F.M and D.A.B work very well, with clear sound, battery life I have found to be good considering the amp/hour of the built in battery, if you can get the station you want, and can hear it clearly in F.M, then stick to F.M, battey life is always going to be better using F.M due to there being no need to to put the signal through a D.A.C first. Having said that, I was impressed with the length of time the D.A.B was able to run, I got more than 5 hours, you can probably double that with F.M. The radio charges and runs via the now ubiquitous type C U.S.B, and is able to charge and play back in unison, which means that if you want to extend it's operating time in battery mode, you can simply plug in a small power bank and easily triple your play back time. The radio also comes with a very easy to register extended warranty, and is in my opinion the best value to perfomance to features currently avaible. So if you're looking for a small D.A.B/F.M portable radio, that has a good feature set, along with an intuitive interface, decent sound for it's price point, and is the best value for money, then this should be on your short list.

A nice little radio, quite easy to use. However, it is tiny (same as my mobile but thicker). Not too bad for talking radio but lacks any bass for music, makes everything sound tinny. Charger provided which charges well and allows cordless use. I wish I had bought the bigger radio but was convinced on this one by the better reviews.

Great little radio with fairly good sound. Preset buttons can be a bit difficult to set using their instructions, but eventually i got there. Internal battery is a god send,no more changeing batteries.
