Now you may feel this is a strange review and I have only just received this and as yet it is all still in it's packaging but as there are no reviews as yet I wanted to at least give other potential buyers my opinion so far. I have 2 problems with giving a full in use review and one is that I am waiting for my son to asemble this for me and secondly I am waiting for some calmer, drier weather before I can try it out but what I do know so far is the following.It was delivered very quickly, much sooner than the anticipated delivery date and it was extremely well packaged.It arrived in not one but two really solid boxes, one inside the other, and then it was also layered in polystyrene packaging. No way was this going to get damaged in transit!The parts look very impressive and solidly constructed and everything is a really good size.Because of what I can see and how it was so well protected in carriage I am expecting the assembled item to look amazing and it's a simple design so I can forsee no problems with how it will be in use. I love that you will be able to see & feel the fire on all four side unlike a lot of the chimera type fire pits that have become so popular as they only have one aperature which means everyone has to sit in one place.It also has a lockable door and comes complete with poker so you can open the door and poke your logs or coal etc just like a real fire indoors.It has a chimney at the top and an ashbox below so is just like your normal fireplace but outside and in a very attractive casing.I have given 5 stars based on what I know to date but once it is assembled and we have nice enough weather to light it I shall know more of how it is in use. Should it disappoint in any way I will adjust stars accordingly but somehow, from checking it over, I don't see it will disappoint in the slightest.

Easy to put together, however some parts of the frame and door were buckled slightly, making it more tricky to put together. For the cost of the product, I would have expected sturdier quality parts.Once out together it looks lovely and adds a nice feature to the garden.

Rather disappointing quality did not match the price

Had now for a while - its been through one winter and its a rust bucket! the caging on the sides is wafer thin metal which has crumbled, the pit in the bottom is near to its first hole. It looked great for the first 4 or 5 month, but with only moderate use its wrecked! Its be repainted with a decent fire paint and i'll re build it's sides - but the pit that holds your wood I'll have to find some kind of replacement. Wouldn't buy again.
