I started taking this product because I have a slight case of arthritis in my knee after having badly torn my cartilage. My knee feels much better now. I looked at meta-analysis research on this subject first and found that researchers got good results using chicken sternal collagen type II (I think they used 400mg) and this was the product closest to that.
