When the lights came up on Black Sabbath in April 1994 at the Hammersmith Apollo in London, the expectant audience were treated to a masterclass in heavy metal by one of the greatest rock bands of all-time. Tony Martin, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Bobby Rondinelli and Geoff Nicholls showcased over two decades of classic rock anthems including Iron Man, Anno Mundi, Children Of The Grave and Paranoid, recognised as one of the best heavy metal songs ever recorded. Started by iconic frontman Ozzy Osbourne in 1969 with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward, Black Sabbath became synonyms with bone-shattering volume, songs with a sense of impending doom and great heavy metal music. Their eponymous debut album in 1970, deliberately released on Friday the 13th, was a commercial success despite being roundly slated by critics, reaching 23 in the Billboard 200 and number 8 in the UK album chart. The follow-up album catapulted Black Sabbath into the major league as the album's title track Paranoid became an instant fan favourite and rock music classic. To date the album has been certified four times platinum and is regarded as the band's magnum opus. By 1974, thanks to relentless touring and million-selling album releases, Black Sabbath stood alone as the kings of heavy metal but the preceding years had begun to take their toll on the band members. By 1977 record sales had dipped and the band had become restless, leading to the departure of Ozzy Osbourne for a brief period, before he left for good in 1979, and Bill Ward quitting soon after citing It was intolerable for me to get on the stage without Ozzy ........ Great. Semi bootleg release will be better once cleaned up and released officially, until then buy this edition.
Tony Martin is my least favourite Sabbath vocalist hes excellent technically and a great Lyricistits just i personally don't like his voice. However I enjoyed the DVD very much.Bobby Rondelli ,formerly of Rainbow, is great prefer his playing to Vinnys.Tony is awesome as always and great to see Geezer back where he belongs.I just wish Glen Hughes could have been together enough to have done the vocals on every post 7th star Sabbath album!

The complete concert.
It is a pity that this edition launched by SFM is not as good as the incomplete editions of the show of Sabbath in Hammersmith Apollo in 94. This dvd is not so good (NOT CRISTAL CLEAR). However, the full concert is increasingly difficult to find. Even with the poor picture is worth buying this show of Iommi and Co. The band is sharp and fast. Long live Black Sabbath

Very poor quality
What can I say, but, DO NOT BUY THIS DVD. It is such bad quality and the sound isn't the best. I have now written a letter to the 2 companies in releasing and Authoring this DVD. If you have the original VHS video, then I would find a good friend to make a copy onto dvd. I'm not condoning in this infringement of copyright. But, by doing this, you will have a superior DVD. Picture quality will be superior and the sound will be so much cleaner and clearer. This DVD is being returned. I will not be ripped off.I will give this one star rating, not because I hate it, but, because of the dire quality. The performance is good.Unless you have never seen this video, then go ahead and buy it. I personally wouldn't bother and wait until a Black Sabbath Approved DVD comes onto the market. Which may be in the next year or two.So do yourself a favour - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

It's the complete show.
This isn't the shortened version that was released in cd and vhs. This dvd contains the 16 songs. The good thing of a Tony Martin years Sabbath concert is that we can have in one concert songs from all Sabbath eras (Ozzy, Dio and Martin). I myself like the Tony Martin era, specially TYR. It's worth having it.

Defective product, but decent in itself
Product wouldn't play properly, disc froze several times, but the musical content in itself was good, though the A/V quality left something to be desired, particularly the video
