Great Fit
Great fit and very comfortable. I do like a thicker Insert but I can add that later. Great product, price and color.

Comparable to the Keen Voyageur....
I've had great comfort with the Voyageur and bought the Targhee 2 to replace an old Voyageur pair which has worn out completely after years of use. These two shoes seem to share the same shoe fast and are built on the same platform. There is plenty of toe box room for me, the back is a bit elevated to help with high arches and the fit is smooth and comfortable all around. They seem to be basically the same shoe.I wear a size 9 in most Keen shoes and boots but when it comes to the Voyageur and the Targhee 2, I need to go up 1/2 size for the perfect fit. For me they run a little too short. I also use a Birkenstock Blue insole for very high arches which completes the overall fit. In the summertime, I wear thin silk socks which makes them just a hair too big (but my feet swell more in the summer making the fit perfect) and for the other months of the year I wear normal thicker socks which work perfectly without being too tight. The Multi color, which is a very deep dark brown and the aqua contrast is really striking and they are a fabulously good looking pair of walking/hiking shoes which get lots of compliments. I really love them.Just a reminder too, is that when your old Keens start to get holes in the bottom from so much use, just keep them and use them as water/river shoes. They are still sturdy enough for this use and to keep your feet supported and covered in the rocky streams and rivers.

Great for injuries, orthotics, midsole doesn't wear down. Lets toes spread, heel width somewhat adjustableeis supposed to be
Might be 3. I'm a solid 11 in these shoes. And Voyageurs, which are the non-waterproof equivalent of these. First purchase of this wtaterproof version for the winter. But they are a bit shorter, and much less wide/tall roomy in the midfoot and front of foot...yet the heel is wider. I have a narrow heel but can wear Voyageurs and should have been able to wear these because they have a way to cinch the heel tight which is UNIQUE and not advertised. So both, ostensibly, you can have your narrow heel and very roomy forfoot...podiatrists recommend this strongly for feet. Toes can spread out (ideally in this style if they fit right, as they do it multiple Voyaguer pair I have. I promise they are the same shoe same last same midsole no other ones have such a raised midsole.I'm working on keeping the fore and midfoot much looser (there's room if I can get lacing right) and how to cinch the heel as it is pulling up some, it does have the chinch mechanism. That said, I have multiple foot injuries and this shoe lets me walk with orthotics (both are deep enough by far for orthotics) longer than any other shoe and I am so greatful. Especially people with forefoot injuries. Like Morton's neuroma where your toes need to spread out, this shoe and the Voyaguer are golden.SInce the midsole is so high, the heel is high, and that off weights your heel...if you have heel injuries as I do. This height and heel to toe slope is hard to find in running and hiking shoes. Yet it doesn[t at all feel wobbly or precarious or like you'd twist your ankle.Shoe is firm and stable and supportive. It breathes very poorly so your feet get stinky, small price to pay.The midsole on this and Voyageur is duel density...those Brown swaths that inject far into the midsole toward the back of the shoe keep the midsole from breaking down. I wear down midoles horribly due to my irregular stance. These haven't worn down, the Voyageur with the identical midsole lasted a year of daily use and the midsole has not collapsed. !0 hours a day. Again these are the only keens with quite as thick quite as "duel density" resistant midsoles.I think I can make this work. Maybe there is less room in the same size of Targhee compared to Voyageur because it also has a waterproof membrane.Traction is superior. My toes feel like they grab the ground more, using appropriate foot muscles despite being clad in built up shoe. I think this is because the width of the front of shoe/toes ball of foot lets toes spread correctly like when you are barefoot.Try these if you are looking for orthotic friendly shoes especially. Or injuries. If they are too deep or wide for you, just purchase a midsole from a drugstore, can be a cheep one, put in under their removable insole that comes with the shoe, and it'll take up some volume.

Look good out of the box
Haven't used them yet. Very comfortable while trying them on. Nice wide toe box. I wear 6.5-7.0 Wide and I purchased these in 7 and I think they will work. Craftmanship look good out of the box, hopefully they will wear just as well.

Looks great but odd fit, might lose a toenail
I have a wide forefoot and narrow heel and sized up to an 8 from 7.5. The toe area is very roomy for my duck shaped feet, but the toe is still hitting a very uncomfortable stiff spot at the top even though there's plenty of width and length. Replacing the insole doesn't help as there's not enough height in the shoe. I've never worn 8.5 in my life, and my heel would definitely slip. I haven't even walked yet and after losing a toenail from my last hike, I can't risk it. The looks and craftsmanship are top notch, but the comfort isn't there.

Always the best choice
As always, Keen targhees are unbeatable in durability and comfort. I walk a lot for work and these last and never disappoint. I think it’s the 5 or 6th pair that I have reordered. They’re super wide and comfy.

KEEN buena calidad
En fin, que I'm KEEN on KEEN. PD. Las botas de nieve son tambien una maravilla.
