Earwax Removal Aid, 0.5 oz Earwax Removal Drops

I regularly have issues with my ears, where if I use a q-tip they get plugged, or if I get water in my ear it feels like it takes FOREVER to get out. I recently went and got an annual physical at the doctor for the first time (I know I'm such an irresponsible adult) and while doing her little ear flashlight thing, my doctor was like "uh do you have any ear issues" and I said "um well sometimes I feel like they get a little plugged I guess?" And she goes "yeah not surprising since I can't see your eardrums around all thay wax buildup. We can flush them out here or you can do it at home." And me being me, I said I would do it at home and promptly did not. Well, then, two days ago, I woke up and my ear was a little plugged. I decided to try to go at it with a q-tip and long story short, I was completely deaf in my left ear for approximately 8 hours. So. Much. Plugged. So a little amazon/google research later, I ended up here looking at this product. I was a little nervous because I've never had good luck with liquid things going in my ears and not making things worse, but I thought hey, it can't get any worse really. Package arrived two days later and now we are HERE. Folks. Buy it. This is like head lice treatment. If you are looking at it and thinking about it, YOU NEED IT. And this stuff. Is. Awesome. You know those ear nuggets I mentioned? Literally chunks of ear wax came out of my ear holes the SIZE OF CORN KERNELS. Where was this coming from? Why is my body making so much wax? Where was it being stored because I did NOT think ear canals were that spacious, but apparently there are some storage closets in there or something because HOLY MARY MOTHER OF GOD the ear nuggets are real. I also bought two red "ear wax aspirators", they're red, like 6 bucks on amazon or something, they worked great. But if you have the bulb nasal aspirators for babies, those are basically the same thing and will also work. I let the drops sit (I dunno how many I used, I was desperate, probably 15?) for about 10-15 minutes and plugged my ears with cotton balls to keep the juice in like the directions say. There was a delightful fizzing nouse/sensation but no instant relief. I pretty gently rinsed out my first ear with nice warm water and nothing really came out, maybe just some flakes. So I went to my left ear and after the first rinse yielded a plugged ear and no nuggets, I cranked the water up to hot and really shot that water up in there and the chunks started flying. Ended up re-rinsing the first ear the same way with excellent results. My ears feel so squeaky clean! And get this, my hair makes sounds. Like I put it up in a hair tie afterwards, and I could HEAR MY HAIR MOVING ON MY HEAD. What is that?! Seriously?! If you also did not know that moving hair creates a sound, you need to buy this product ASAP.

The effectiveness is very good when used as directed, and the drops are simple to apply. The formula is easy to use, and the small 0.5 oz size is convenient to keep in the medicine cabinet or take while traveling. The instructions are straightforward, and the overall quality feels reliable. Good ease of use, practical packaging, and very good value for money. My son’s doctor recommended this for his ears after they tried to flush out the ear wax at his appointment in the office. We did 5-10 drops at home for 3 days and then squirted water in his ear to release the softened wax. It was easy to use and clean out the ear and it didn’t irritate the skin at all. It is a thick oil consistency and has a mild scent. The only thing to be aware of is that you need to purchase the bulb separately if you plan to rinse out the ear with water. I guess I thought it would come with one in the package and I obviously didn’t read carefully. Overall I am pleased with this product and will definitely purchase again in the future.

My ears are copious wax production facilities and always have been. I've never used this product before and haven't heard of the active ingredient in it. They suggest using it a few times before rinsing the ears to remove any bits that might be floating around in there. I also bought one of those new water squirting ear cleaner devices gonna follow suggestion to use this a few days before using the gadget. I've treated both ears once so far it's very oily and stays in the ear fairly well. There is no bubbly sound like you get with hydrogen peroxide. My ears feel pretty good and don't feel clogged or sore. I guess the test will be if any clumps of wax come floating out when I finally use the flushing gadget. Update: the secret here seems to be to use this every few days need it or not, then you won't need it. Every second application I use the irrigation gadget (I got the manual one but someone's also making one with a pump built in) I use warm water around 95 degrees and sometimes I'll put a few squirts of regular hydrogen peroxide in the tank with the water. From all the reviews I've read, everyone's ear wax seems to be a little bit different. In my case I seem to need one application to soften it up and the second application does the deed. First use I got two pretty big flakes of wax to come out and my ear felt better for days but I got that "achy" feeling again after not using it for a couple days so apparently I need to keep up a regimen to prevent those big nasty flakes from forming. You can purchase the active ingredient in this stuff under a "generic" name for a little bit cheaper at a popular big brick n mortar store but reading the reviews some folks that have also used this claim they think this works much better than the generic. update: I tried the "generic" carried by wallyworld was not impressed. It might be the same chemical but the "consistency" is far from the same. When you put debrox in your ear you will feel it go down into the canal after a couple of minutes, didn't have the same experience with the generic product. In fact it seemed to sit at the entrance to the canal in one big glob and when I sat up, the whole ball rolled right out of my ear...worthless. So yes it might be a dollar or so cheaper but if it doesn't stay in your ear where you need it what good is it? This stuff works for me at least, I suspect others may have different experiences because everyone's ears are different.

I'm not too sure about this product. It seemed to work great... cleared out the wax, but my ear canals hurt for a few days after using. Not sure i will use again.

These drops worked great! I had gone scuba diving and some water had gotten trapped in my ear and it had been a couple days. I don’t want it to get infected or anything so I had to try something. Put 10 drops in my ear, layer on my side for 5min then put a folded up paper towel in the snap of a tootsie roll into my ear just on the outside part of the canal not down into it, and let the solution continue to sit for about 20-30min while I was walking around doing stuff in my house. Then I used an Ear Irrigation Flushing System I also bought on Amazon and flushed my ear with warm water. It is important you use warm water cold water could make you feel nauseous. So much wax came out of my ear, I was like omg this is gross lol it was around 3-4 large balls of wax and then some smaller pieces as well. Idk if the drops alone will help you need some sort of way to then flush out the ear wax. I can finally hear again and my ears feel so clean and not blocked anymore. Highly recommend. I also did this myself so it is absolutely possible to do the drops and flush on your own. You can also feel where to direct the water stream in your ear to unlodge the earwax. Will definitely be keeping this on standby in case it happens again.

This is sort of a two-product review, as I got these drops along with a Squip Kyrosol kit for a total of $16 spent. I started with the Kyrosol treatment, lying on my side, and I could feel the drops working due to a tangy taste (Eustachian tube connection, I guess?) -- an interesting sensation. Some folks might using these drops unpleasant, but I liked knowing the drops were in there doing their thing. After 30 minutes I rinsed with the syringe that came in Squip kit. I did not have anything dramatic happen after the first 30-minute soak, but my left ear certainly wasn't any worse. Then came the Debrox. I used the Debrox drops (same evening, sale left ear) and let them in there for a while using the earplug that came with this Squip kit. When I rinsed after that, I could see wax flecks in the sink. Again, nothing dramatic, but with some palm suction (classic press into the ear with the fleshy part of the palm then "pop" it off), I felt the ear canal clear up in a way I hadn't for months. The next evening I worked the right ear (same process, starting with the Kyrosol drops and then using Debrox with the earplug), and got some wax loosened up. No dramatic improvement, but my right ear is not nearly as plugged. I decided to Debrox the left ear again, using the earplug once more to leave some drops in for more than an hour. I then rinsed with the Squip rinser and when I reached in with my pinky finger for a final clear-out I pulled out a clump of wax the size of a cashew half. My wife and I were impressed with the glob that came out. My left ear is now REALLY clear. The alarm clock this morning was as piercing as I can recall for years (it is hard to judge improvement over time, but it felt pronounced). I am going to work on my right ear again this evening because it seems like a two-day approach gets stuff loosened up more. And I do think the Debrox drops are more active/percolating in how they work. You can really feel a "bubbling" sensation after you put the drops in, and they seem to be effective even when using an earplug and staying upright to go about your evening. In summary, the earplug and rinser in the Squip kit were very helpful, and the Kyrosol drops provide a good start to getting things loosened up. I think the Debrox drops are more effective, though, as you can feel them sort of percolating more in the ear, a sensation I did not feel with the Kyrosol. As a 1-2 punch, though, over a couple days, it is very likely you will get results with the Debrox/Kyrosol combination.

Great product. May leave your ears more full for awhile or temporarily increase pain. However the product works.

Not working for my ears. If you have ear infections like mine before, Just see a doctor. I went to GP for 3 appointment (wasted my time), then end up paying full price for 1 doctor session lol. Now im good

The product worked great, highly recommended. Just be patient and read the instructions. On the second day, I suggest you start using something to gently spray water and flush the ear.
