PTL® Prestige Double Nylon Jaw Flat Nose Pliers Jewellery Making Tools

These pliers are made well and are fantastic for the price. They are slippy as others have said but that is why they are nylon. If you want grip, something has to mark the surface to create that grip e.g. metal. Nylon is used as it does not mark the medium it is to be used on. That being said the gripping edge is wide and flat and has enough 'grip' for the purpose, I've had no issues using them for vaping coils. Many annoying bad reviews from people who have bought the wrong product when it is perfect when used correctly!!!

My husband saw them on the Repair Shop program and thought they would be ideal for his train modelling. He has already used them for straightening soft white metal which it did without marking the metal. Overall very pleased and good that it came with spare heads for future replacements. Good quality pliers at a sensible price.

These flat nose pliers are perfect for using when jewellery making. I love them. They are. It too big either. They also have a spare pair of ends which is a bonus. They arrived promptly and well wrapped.Many thanks to all concerned.

Plastic doesn't grip well when using it on wiring. I find it slips of the work and has marked it when it's slipped up to the metal sec from of the pliers.The plastic is not going to last long, it's already badly scored.The grip and hand hold is fine but the plastic but is bigger than I had hoped so a bit clumsy to use.

the jaws are a tad smaller than what I currently use, but I can definitely hold my current work with it. don't expect the nylon jaws to do a fantastic grip, they're not made to replace normal jaws. they work fantastic for straightening wire or a piece of wire work without leaving marks.I do use them mostly for getting rid of the small kinks of the base wires and weaving wires and they do a very good job.

Really good size and just the right grip to run along thin wires to straighten them in double quick time. Easy to use, comfortable in the hand, and came with spare nylon jaws, but seem to be lasting very well, even with daily use.
