Breville Strata 4 Slice Toaster - Grey

looks good with the matching toaster. there are several negative comments but I have not had the problems they describe, it is always tricky top find a good kettle with so many mixed reviews but in the end this one looked the best to match my new kitchen colours and it the price its over half the price of the flashier ones so it worked for me.

Happy with look but disappointed that it's already broken after a few months . In order to boil the water you need to hold down the lever. Waiting to hear back from the supplier to see if I can get an exchange for another.

Looks good and a year on it still looks like a quality product. The switch is nicely done and has a good feel to it.However after a year it has started turning itself off almost immediately and has now got to the point where it is pretty much unusable unless you hold the switch down until it boils. For this money I would expect it to last longer than a year.Update Jan 2018: The issue with turning itself off seems to have cleared itself (after a month or so) and for the past 6 months it has been back to being a great kettle. As it has lasted a couple of years and still looks good and works well I'd say it's a good buy. Definitely lasted longer than any kettle we've had so far. Updated score accordingly.

Love the ability to see how much water is in the kettle without opening it by looking at the measurements guide on the side that lights up when on. Arrived on time. Works as expected . Looks v smart in my kitchen n matches colour scheme perfectly

Seemingly strong design and wide enough to take bagels easily which is a prerequisite in my house!! Toasts well and evenly no matter which slot(s) are in use and the trays underneath pull out simply to remove crumbs. You might pay a little more for the brand but in this case I think absolutely worth it!

When the toaster eventually arrived I opened the box to find the plastic bag the toaster should be in only half covering the item and carried the label for a 'Vodan Faux Fur Parka', fingerprints were visible on the top, power lead not packed as I would have expected, just wrapped round the toaster, no user guide, no guarantee card, right hand control knob loose. When tested elements only partially glowing so not a cats chance in hell of making evenly brown toast. Not worth trying, completely useless so returning immediately and not going near Breville again.

Very happy with this kettle. It looks stylish and performs well. It sounded quite loud the first couple of boils but has settled down now.

Absolutely beautiful kettle and toaster set. I have to say I was a little worried having already ordered and reading a review which stated the items looked very plasticy - they couldn't have been more WRONG! They are just beautiful!!!!! I didn't realise when I ordered however upon unpacking out the box the lid on the kettle has a big sparkley gem and matching on the dials on the toaster.... you know your getting old when your in love with your new kettle/toaster!! Would highly recommend!! :)
