It is a good iron, easy to clean and hold. There is one problem and that is that it spurts out steam when you are not expecting which is quite dangerous as I have burnt myself, mildly, but I have got used to it as I am aware of it. I have bought Tefal irons for a number of years now but I would not buy this one again. I did read a review which said all the above which I ignored so I will say buyer beware.

Irons very well, short cord and slightly heavy
I always purchase Tefal models and bought this to replace a black model I had. It has a good plate and design and irons really well. For me, the cord length was not long enough and it felt a little heavy, however my partner said the weight was ok. So would not recommend for an older person to use. Very pleased with results though.

Superb
Superb iron to use and light to use.However the code length is short so have to use an extension cord

So disappointed
Oh dear, I paid more as I thought it would be much better than the cheaper irons, but the cord is so short that it doesn't not reach the end of the ironing board unless the board can be placed right next to the plug. Even though I filled only to the 'max' and gave it a long time for it to warm up, it just continues to leak water all over the clean clothes that I am trying to iron, I've never had that problem with any of my previous irons (unless it was not quite warmed up enough). I am now using it without any water in it. I could have bought 3 or 4 cheaper irons for that price, confident that they work properly. So disappointed. This is my first negative Amazon review ever, in 17 years.

What happened to the cord?
Cord too short, water spray not positioned well. Irons stuff ok though.

Dodgy temperature control
The steam control is extremely vague, moving itself ever higher up the temperature range.It does chuck out a huge amount of steam, arguably too much when after an hour there’s water dripping from the frame of the ironing board.

Great balance great results
Good quality product value for money, would have like more flex which would save me using an extension but i would buy this iron again

Brilliant steam function
This is the best steam iron EVER absolutely easy to use and the steam is amazing, it is quite heavy but for me that is ok
