Checking the Car Battery
I've had a problem with one of the electronic systems in the car, and previously a lack of charge in the battery was held responsible. I needed a voltmeter to check if this was the case. The attraction of this particular meter is that it provides a digital display of the actual voltage rather than just an illuminated LED. You also need this to check if the alternator is working (the voltage increases when the engine is started). It's light and compact, easy to operate, and as it has a useful range between 4 and 20 volts, it can be used to check electrical items or batteries that operate within this range. So far, very pleased with it, and exactly what I was looking for.

Works well, good value
Very good value item and works perfectly. Told me my alternator is fine and the battery is a bit low on charge. Drove for a while and the charge came up. Then put the battery on charge and it got it as being fully charged. Convenient size and I now keep it in my cubby hole.

Digital Display is a bonus
Needed to see if the alternator was charging the car battery and did not want one which just had the traffic light system. This product shows you the voltage charge rate which is excelled and you can easily check your batteries ability to hold a charge. At this price you can’t go wrong and it’s proven it’s worth already.

No instructions!
I would like to praise this item BUT it comes with no instructions at all. Nothing comes with it. The box is empty, apart from the gizmo.It has eight or more indicators on the gizmo but nothing there to help you to interpret what it's tryin to tell you.

Very easy to use
Very useful tester, easy to use and tests battery in car or out of car in garage. In car can test battery voltage with engine off and when engine running also does load test when engine starting to check if battery is getting passed it's sell by date. A good valued purchase, have used for the last two weeks on different cars a good product.

Works really well and easy to use, if you have another person to rev the engine while you are under the bonnet, or buy the LCD Cigarette Lighter Voltage Digital Panel Meter for under £2, and do it yourself.

Useful tester
I bought it to test my leisure battery as my very old tester had failed. It works well and backs up the new charger I have which doesn’t show voltage only percentage of charge. Therefore it does what I require,, if it lasts as many years as my original I will be very happy!!
