Lock laces are fine when they stay in place. But when one end slips out it's almost impossible to thread them through the lock clip again. Ideas?

Yes, re-melt the end of the lace in a lighter flame, clean off, and thread through. After re-opening the clip, of course !

Question 3

Tying and untying the ending is difficult. Is there an easy way?

Have you followed the fitting instructions ? lace the shoes as normal & then pass the ends through the sliding grip clip, adjust the length to that required & then fit both ends into the end clip - there is no requirement to tie anything.

Can we get longer than 48" for walking boots. I know there are pictures of them on hiking boots, but mine are higher cut than these.

We currently do not offer laces in the color green apple longer than 48". However, we do have Lock Laces® for Boots which are 72” long and extremely durable, fitting all lace-up boots from low-cut hiking boots to military boots.
