this calculator works fantastic! strong acceptance by the nearby window lighting for solar power purposes too. no need to be outside, the receptor easily picks up faint lighting in my opinion and i can still work on it indoors. the battery compartment comes empty, i think it takes 1 AAA battery from my picture. and just look at the adorable packaging! totally worthy of display in a kawaii room. other than that, the display screen is very bold and clear to read. the buttons are all very responsive. it does come with a folded manual but i hate reading. it's ready to use right out of the box. perfect colors for valentines day too~ absolutely in love with this calculator, makes balancing out my budgets and bills for the month fun and way less boring that's for sure! would get this again and again
