Connecting to legacy display technology
I bought this to connect a very old workstation, whose monitor had died a few hours after I powered it up after 15 years of not being used, to an also not very new VGA monitor so that i could access the legacy system, retrieve some data and verify the operationality of some very specialized peripherals.It worked very well, as I expected after researching if it could be done, didn't need to connect both V-sync and H-sync (it didn't work if I did), and got the job done!!

Didnt work for me.
Ordered this on the off chance it would convert a VGA signal to a BNC signal. It didn't work for me but I'm sure it has its uses somewhere.

Perfect adaptor to go from an old Tube to monitor
used this on a old tube from 1998 that was no longer displaying an image. Hooked the adapter up and plugged in a modern monitor and works flawlessly again.

L'ho comprato per poter impiegare con un vecchio proiettore che permetteva esclusivamente l'ingresso component. Dopo tanto tempo e numerose ore passate a riparare e ricondizionare quel vecchio proiettore, la più felice sorpresa è stata ripagata proprio grazie a questo cavo speciale che mi ha permesso di collegarlo a un moderno personal computer e poter finalmente vedere proiettato sul grande schermo anche i contenuti del PC. Resistente e ben fatto. Lo consiglio.

Das war der Hauptgrund für mich, diesen Adapter zu kaufen: Sync-on-Green!Damit läßt sich eine VAX mit Originalkabel mit einem heutzutage handelsüblichen LCD-Display verbinden :)
