Great item for the price, lots of space for all our fruit and veg. Not scared to put a lot of items in it and know it will still take the weight.

We have owned a similar hanging basket for years and, after chasing fruit around the kitchen for a couple of years, we replaced the chains with stronger chain from a DIY store. That basket set is still going strong after ten years.Well, this particular basket set from Amazon needed exactly the same treatment. The first time I hung the new basket, there was a fruit cascade. Melons rolling under the table, pineapples concussing the toddler, satsumas raining down on the cats...Off to the DIY store, replaced the chains with weight-worthy chain and, voila, another sturdy basket set, ready to hold (the other half of) a week's worth of fruit for a family of six.I've still given this five stars because, even with the flimsy chains, the product is what I would expect for £7.55. The baskets will last for years. I bought this months ago now and there's no sign of corrosion or rust on the chrome and none of the wires have warped. Just bought another set for my veg and bread, that's how much I like it.Clears the worktops, keeps the bananas' toxic gases away from the other fruits and stops the melons squashing the kiwis.

I agree with some other reviewers that this feels a bit flimsy but I wouldn't say it's a big deal since it is inexpensive. I only use it for makeup and toiletries and I'm happy with how much it can hold. I'm not sure the product description clarifies this, but the baskets are different diameters, smallest at the top. The slats in the baskets are quite wide in places so I had to use a liner to make sure smaller items don't fall through.

This is a nice fruit/veggie basket and can hold a lot of fruit, but you must replace the chains! As many others have pointed out, the chains on this product are extremely cheap and weak! I barely filled the bottom tray and the chains snapped. Spent £2-ish on some stronger chains from the local hardware store and no more falling fruit! Giving the cost, not too bad. But I'd suggest the manufacturer replace the chains and raise the cost an extra £2 or so. It would give this product 5 stars!

Use for vegetables

We read the reviews of various similar products and settled on this one based on its positive reviews. We purchased two and have not been disappointed. The chains are strong and the baskets deep and the whole thing looks stylish when hanging with fruit. The baskets are held to the chain with s-hooks and their level on the chain and proximity to the other baskets can be customized. We have a high kitchen ceiling so we purchased an extra length of chain along with a hook from a hardware store to hang them. Looks great, is functional, keeps air circulating around the produce, and it saves counter space. The price was great and delivery was prompt.

Cómodo, semplice. Aderente alla descrizione. Esteticamente non dà nell’occhio e, almeno nel mio caso, mi fa salvare dello spazio in cucina. Per adesso ha retto il peso di mele, banane e arance senza fare una piega.

La compré "con defectos estéticos" que han resultado ser varillas rotas.... Estoy muy descontenta, por que me parece que esa descripción no se ajusta a la realidad, más allá de que me conforme con el producto, sobretodo en relación con el precio.

Sie hängt an einem in die Decke gebohrten Haken an der eigenen Kette und hat seit nun mitlerweile 2 Jahren wöchentlich ordentlich viel Obst zu tragen.Je nach Saison hängen teilweise Orangen, Bananen, Ananas und Äpfel zusammengerechnet mehrere Kilogram an dem mitgelieferten dünnen Kettchen, aber dennoch ist bis dato nichts passiert!Zugegebenermaßen haben wir in dieser Zeit auf Klimmzüge und Ähnliches verzichtet, vielleicht erklärt das die wundersame Lebensdauer... Spaß bei Seite: Potenziellen Käufern empfehle ich diesen Hängekorb guten Gewissens. Dieser erfülllt seinen Zweck und hält auch nach nun 2 Jahren noch fest und stabil.Viele Grüße
