OK - but only if you have no choice
This product does work - and it definitely connects an original generation Xbox to an RGB SCART. However, the quality is really not very good. The cable is pretty thin, the connectors are adequate but the whole thing really does not inspire any confidence at all. The actual picture quality is OK - although having compared it to a genuine Microsoft 'Advanced SCART' cable which I've since got I don't think it is as good.So if you have no choice - this will do the job - but I'd suggest looking elsewhere if you want maximum quality. The original Microsoft branded products are the best, although not so easy to find these days.

Very poor quality cable and picture
No good. Physically the cable is very poor quality. It's thin and flimsy, and the picture it produces suffers from 2 horizontal flashing lines that move up and down the screen.It's insulting really because people who go and buy RGB scart cables for old games consoles are, like me, retro gaming fans who are looking to get the best quality picture they can out of the old systems and in this case all you get is cheap, nasty rubbish that gives an overall worse picture than a composite cable. Avoid at all costs.I've given it 2 stars and not 1 purely because it at least actually does output RGB.

Other Manufactures Should Produce A Better Product
Even the other reviews say this cable renders unwanted bands on the screen I still had to buy it bcos it's the only one out there. This is a chance for other manufacturers to make some money by making and selling a better version. I suspect now, April 2018, all sellers are sourcing from the same manufacturer. Finally, yes it renders bands on my screen too.

Didn't work for my north American NTSC Xbox. I will need to return it.

If you stream using Retro tink get this
Get this scart cable if you use Retro tink. It really does a great job with the tink.

El cable esta bien para el precio que tiene .Lo recomiendo si no tienes otra alternativa.Se ve bien.Para un OSSC recomiendo un cable de mas calidad si existe yo no lo he encontrado.

Niente di speciale ma OTTIMO per il prezzo!
Il cavo è adeguato visto il prezzo, è RGB quindi potete aspettarvi un'ottima immagine rispetto al video composito.Non sembra essere schermato a dovere, quindi potete aspettarvi delle interferenze.Io non ho avuto nessuna interferenza video, quindi l'immagine è ottima, ma ho riscontrato delle interferenze nell'audio che so per certo essere dovute alcavo e non alle casse, quindi dipenderà dal vostro setup.Tutto sommato lo consiglio visto il prezzo!
