Totally Bulletproof
In 2008 I went to Europe to work; given that QWERTY are not used abroad, I bought one of these keyboards. It is still going strong today. I have used it in London, Paris, Brussels, Tokyo, Frankfurt. It's been battered around in my travel case, and probably dropped a few times. I love stuff that survives well. At £18, then I have spent £1.50 a year on it.So, I decided to buy another one recently. Plugged it in straight away. Now... it seems a little rattily - but..a) It wasn't packaged in protective wrappingb) even though it was special delivery, the postman shoved it through the letterbox (due to the pandemic). So as I type it is rattling slightly - but I think that's because it had a good 1.5 metre drop ! Still working. In my opinion this is great sturdy little keyboard. If you have posture issues then it helps also, because it does not have a numeric keypad (which is another reason i bought it - I'm not an accountant - so numeric keypad is useless to me).... as it is compact, it means you will not stretch out your right arm to use the mouse.

Good Value For Money
I needed a small keyboard because the in-built one on my laptop needs replacing. This looked perfect. Mine isn't warped in any way, sits flush on my lap desk but does slide around. I put small blobs of blu-tack on the feet to prevent it from moving round so much.My first mistake was thinking that the on/off button relates only to the keyboard, so I pressed it and switched my laptop off! After that I had few problems.EDIT: This now sits on top of my laptop, where the keyboard is, for this reason I just wish there was some way to control the volume and brightness of the laptop. At the moment I have to lift it up and do this on the computer's keyboard. The keys have some side to side movement while typing which makes them feel and sound rattly. This is fine as far as it goes, but I wish I'd bought a mechanical keyboard instead.MANY YEARS LATER: I'm still using this as my regular keyboard. Was thinking of buying another, but due to the price increase decided to try to clean it instead.Watched a few videos about how to do this. This keyboard is surprisingly easy to clean. The keys just pop off, no silly scissor mechanism, and the keys can be washed in soapy water. Cleaned the crud from the board with a stiff paintbrush. All keys were easy to reassemble, apart from a few - youtube helped again. After cleaning, the keyboard is better than new. For the first time noticed the wonderful clacky sound of the keys.I have no affiliation with the product, but it's a nice light keyboard which lasts a long time and is easy to clean. Shame about the price hike.

Small, good key layout, but poor key action
Just received this as a replacement for a similarly prices Targus Compact keyboard that had been returned due to a key layout issue. On opening the box the first impression was good - the keyboard has a standard key layout which is exactly what I was after and it takes up a minimal amount of space. It also doesn't have some normal keys doubling as the numpad like the Targus, which saves having to turn off numlock every time before I'm able to log in.However, it also has a downside. The key action is unpleasant and the keys feel both cheap and a bit wobbly. I've no idea how well it will last given I've just got it but I've not got high hopes. If I wanted a cheap compact keyboard for normal use I'd recommend getting the Targus instead. If, like me, you want a cheap compact keyboard for gaming then this fits the bill, having the ctrl key in the bottom left corner as you'd expect. The only other option I found in the price-range was a logitech k300 that was a bit more expensive and a bit bigger - however I've not tried it so can't compare :(

Excellent value for money, and it suits me really well
This keyboard is perfect for my needs. I tend to be much more comfortable typing on a compact keyboard or a laptop than I am when using a standard keyboard. The action is smooth and predictable, and the angle of the keyboard is just right for me. I purchased a different keyboard a few months ago - necessitated because the keyboard I had been using for many years broke - but I wasn't happy about the unevenness and unpredictability of the action, and I started to get quite a bit of discomfort. I wish I had not bought that keyboard, and that I had bought the present keyboard in the first place! Two things to note, which might concern some people, but don't concern me:(1) The angle of the keyboard can't be adjusted. As I mentioned, the angle is perfect for me anyway.(2) The Return key is slightly further to the right than I'm accustomed to. I have got used to this, and it's fine for me.I can wholeheartedly recommend this keyboard, and it's excellent value for money.

Keyboard key identifications soon lose clarity
What a disappointment - ideal in size but after a very short period of time the lettering in the keys partially disappears. Complained to the A4Tech, "I purchased your 'A4 Tech KL-5 Mini Slim Compact Keyboard - UK Layout' from Amazon on 10th April 2021 and took delivery on the following day. Unfortunately, I have to advise you that within a month the keyboard lettering started to disappear from keyboard wear. I should also advise you that the keyboard has had little use during this period, with only one user (me, aged 84 years). Otherwise, the keyboard is fit for purpose. May I ask if you provide more resilient keys to replace the defective keys?"A4Tech Support promised a response with 48 hours. I still await that response!

Best keyboard for Raspberry Pi and similar SBC
First things first: this isn't a great keyboard qua keyboard. Think about that cheap noname keyboard from Best Buy... about that level of quality. If you just need a keyboard, look elsewhere. But if you need a keyboard for some device that has a very low profile - like, say, Raspberry Pi Zero - I have good news for you! This keyboard consumes a mere 15 mW of power, as measured by my USB meter. And yet it has full-size keys, including arrows, and all navigation keys - Page Up/Down, Home, End, Delete, and Insert (albeit in somewhat strange locations), and a complete F1-F12 function key row. While I'm hesitant to call it a proper full-size keyboard, it's definitely much closer to it than any other product on the market with that power profile, and it makes a big difference when you have to do a lot of editing directly on the device, whether it's configs or code, or just using it as a mini PC. So, for that specific niche - highly recommended.

Good for shoulder issues
If your right shoulder is hurting is may be because you are holding your arm out to the side because of a long keyboard with a numeric keypad. This is a nice keyboard (not cheap in quality despite the price) and paired with a dollar store calculator it does the business.

o.k
The keyboard just feels somewhat cheap. It was awesome that all the shortcut keys work in Ubuntu Linux. Some keys you have to hit slightly firmer to get working.I can type normal on the keyboard. Very slim and lightweight.USB is good.I can also use this on a Playstation 3.It just feels I can break it easily. The shipping was fast.I did a essay on it, no problems except for the forward slash and break characters. There are two of them on the keyboard. How come they couldn't move the enter key to the left, then the other key to a good position. If you have pretty large hands or a you are open to change. This flimsy keyboard will probably help.

The enter key is tiny and not where I expect it to be.
This is a good product, but it doesn't work for me for my purposes. I got it because I'm having issues with tendinitis due to repetitive stress, and wanted a narrower keyboard so that I could use my mouse without reaching out the to side of my body. This keyboard is good for that and they keys are nice and responsive, however take a look at the picture of the keyboard closely before you purchase. I am accustomed to the enter key being directly to the right of the semicolon, and as wide as two keys. This enter key is instead two to the right of the semicolon, which means I need to stretch my right pinky farther than I'm accustomed to to hit enter. My right pinky happens to be one of the areas that gets sore by the end of the day.Other than that, the product is great. The description on the box says you need Windows or MacOS to use it, but it's plug & play with Debian linux, as well.

Right Sized Keyboard - Between a Micro and Standard Keyboard
Bought this keyboard in 2011 and use it all the time on my SFF pc. In fact, I am using it now. The only issues I found are (1) some of the keys on the outer edge of the keyboard need a little more pressure to register the key, and (2) I find myself pressing the wrong key since it is smaller than a standard keyboard (shorter travel distance for the fingers). All in all, it is a great small keyboard, and just the right size for me. I will use it for many more years
