King Cole 9035 Knitting Pattern Tinsel Christmas Trees and Baubles to knit in Tinsel Chunky

Love this pattern and can't wait to start knitting it for a Christmas Fete. Quite basic instructions, I am sure that an accomplished knitter would be able to knit without the pattern, but for a "not so confident" knitter like myself, it's good to have some guidance. Nice wool to knit with, having done the hedgehogs and owls I feel ready to start something different.

Lovely Christmas tree patterns that knit up beautifully with the King Cole Chunky Tinsel Yarn. I did a smaller tree to see how the yarn would handle and it was easy once I got past the first few rows and had got used to the feel of it. It says on the pattern that the gauge is not important but my tree came out taller than their measurements. It may be a good idea to make one or two and then buy the cones to fit the finished size if you have the same problem as me.

Bought this for a bit of a laugh, i have made a tree and balls to go with a snowman that i made for a friend,the pattern is not to hard to use and it is simple to follow,great bit of base knitting just to add a bit of fun at Christmas time.

Expect to be enjoying doing a lot of knitting and wasn’t aware of how soft Tinsel is, and how easy to knit with. Delighted with this wool 🧶 and love the finished look. Highly recommend.

Lovely wool but a bit hard to work with even as an established knitter. Worth giving it a go for knitting hedgehogs

Easy to follow pattern, made all three sizes, you will need to buy polystyrene cones of three different sizes, or improvise with cardboard. My friend couldn't believe I knitted these.

Fabulous pattern, one of the best things I've knitted. Just need a polystyrene cone inside. They're fab for Xmas fayres.
