Each sheet contains 6.35 x6.35 cm / 2.5 x 2.5 inch square cells that expand into mini frozen ice packs. Each cell contains biodegradable, expandable, non-toxic beads that absorb almost 25 times its weight in water. Unlike ordinary ice packs, ThermaFreeze ice sheets are flexible even when frozen - it can be cut or folded to fit around products or in containers, or around a body part that needs cold therapy relief. The ice sheets have a thin plastic backing on one side, and soft cloth on the other to provide comfort.You can cut the sheet to size, or fold them to fit your needs. Thermafreeze can be used in coolers or lunch bags, as a cold therapy or ice pack for pain relief, or even to store and ship cold or frozen items. This 38 gram / 1.25 ounce sheet of material converts to almost 0.9kg / 2 pounds of frozen ice packs! Hydration takes only seconds per sheet and is done by soaking or spraying the cloth side of the pad with water. Once hydrated, it is ready to be placed in a freezer and will be fully frozen in approximately 2 hours. To use, take it out of the freezer and place it where you need an ice pack. The sheets will stay frozen outside of a cooler for up to 2 hours, way longer than ice, way longer than traditional gel packs. Meets your cooling needs without causing drips, leaks and wetness. They provide cooling without becoming wet (they stay moist but never wet) so you can keep them on as long as necessary. They also don't drip like ice so they don't mix with the food or soak the product needing refrigeration. Cool, much better than old-school ice packs.
Once frozen these are very convenient - I have not noticed any leakage in use and you easily cut them up into strips or tetris pieces or individual blobs to suit purposes.Also tremendous value on this bulk-buy.One thing to know, once immersed in cold water, these puff up very quickly!I left my first sheet in too long and the little pillows got so plump that it won't lie flat - so don't leave them unattended in the prep stage, fish them out of the kitchen sink and wipe dry when they're still ravioli-sized.So much supplied in this package that 2 sheets are still in original packaging to store or give away.

Versatile freezer pack cuts to required size
Used similar before, needed some more and unable to find for sale in shops. Amazon comes up trumps again. These freezer packs are malleable when frozen to fit into cooler bag etc. Longer lasting frozen time than hard freezer packs, can be cut to required size. Delighted I was able to find them on Amazon

What a fab idea, you just slowly fill the little sachets up bung the lot in the freezer and once frozen good to go.i use it for my back and and so far so good their has been no leaking.I have been able to use one sheet over and over again and even managed to re-fill any sachets that had gone down.

Reusable or not?
Easy to use. I received x5 sheets but only used one sheet. The remaining 4 sheets for future use. Once used (soaked / frozen )best refreeze and use again rather than dry out sheet, the expanded contents leak and do not go back to crystals. I could be wrong!

Waste of money
Defrosted within hours. A 2l frozen water bottle lasted much much longer. Leaked and wouldn't soak up and puff up. Useless. Amazon customer services fantastic, refunded me straight aeay

Good quality and good value for money
They are still in the freezer and only used the sheet once.It was better than ice blocks because they can be wrapped around items so more versatileDon't think they last any longer than blocks but great for picnics ect

Keeps food frozen but!
I used this product to keep cold baby food I had cooked and frozen and need to transport for a holiday. The product kept the food frozen very well, I was really please. The issue is when the sheets defrosted the gel leaked the sheets became slimy, I threw them away.

Brilliant. Value for money
Brilliant. Value for money. Brought some months ago and still only using one sheet. it came as a pack of or 8. When it starts to deflate I put back in warm water and presto back porous plumped up.
