So, ask yourselfDo I spend $330 on the official, HP inkOr take a chance and buy ink from a 3rd party company?do you feel confident.....do you?I bought my HP Laserjet Pro 200 printer, 2nd hand to save money.It got low on magenta and yellow ink. Once in awhile I do need to print in color, that meany buying ink.Why is HP ink so expensive for this printer? Is it this is an older/ less popular printer model and ink for this printer is not common, or is being phased out?So, I go on amazon and buy the 4 color set of ink for $60.When I bought the ink, I did not think twice about the brand (if the ink works, I do not care which company made it).When I installed the rectangle shaped ink cartridge. When my printer was booting up, I got a message on the screen saying something like "this is not official HP ink"........ but that is like saying, you are bending the rules a bit there, buddy. But I went into the menu, checked ink levels and it says I am 100% on yellow and magenta (the colors I changed, I still have about 50% on black and cyan or blue).final verdict.I am a college student, so I am mostly printing papers / essays, and sometimes diagrams / graphs related to what I am studying. It works well for what I am doing. I paid $70 for the printer used and $60 for enough ink to last me...... for a long time ( I change ink cartridges about once every 2 years, if that).

Some replacement toner cartridges are "remanufactored" and not always a good fit for the printer. The brand I had before this one caused squeaking when printing. From the description, I gather theses are not and they seem to work as well as the originals. This is after 2 months of use. Great value and print quality is good.

These cartridges fit my printer even though the printer tells you they won't work. The print quality is good.

I thought I hit the jackpot with these toner cartridges. At first, they worked perfectly. With still quite a bit of life left in each cartridge, the cyan cartridge started leaving vertical lines, sometimes just on the edge, but most of the time all across the entire page. I cleaned everything and it got better for a brief period. Broke down and bought an OEM cyan cartridge and problem is resolved, so it is definitely a cyan cartridge problem from this supplier. The other cartridges are working fine so far. I guess you get what you pay for. I was hoping to save a bit of money, but will probably stick to oem from now on to avoid these issues.

Our office HP laserjet was starting to leave wide magenta stripes down the entire length of the page. Original HP replacement cartridges were more than 3 times the cost of these Kogain replacement cartridges, so I decided to give them a try, based on many favorable reviews and a great cost. After quickly receiving the product, I replaced just the magenta cartridge and that immediately fixed the stripe issue. As the other cartridges were getting low, I decieded to replace the remaining 3 colors, and I'm now getting clean, clear printed copies. Based on the great cost alone, I'm very happy with this purchase. In all fairness, I am only leaving a neutral 3 stars for longevity at this time, as we have only been using the cartridges for about 2 weeks. Hopefully there will not be any long term problems, but I will update my review after 90 days if the print quality starts to deteriorate.

It’s been years since I was willing to try non oem ink. These days I love online reviews and saw how wonderful the rating were and thought - this is it!! This one is going to work. Disappointed to report the color is not accurate and there is a pinkish hint to everything we print. I can’t wait for the ink to run out and we will go back to HP ink cartridges.
