I can't praise this sharpener enough - it keeps my Japanese knifes nice and sharp. My Japanese knives are mid - range i.e. we're not talking a £1000 pounds a blade, but they are not bad and it has taken me a long time to realise they have a lower bevel than English knives and I was despairing that I could not keep them sharp using English sharpeners until I came across this sharpener. I've learnt a lot since then about bevel angles and different sharpeners, but this Furi Ozitech copes with both English and Japanese blades and really does the business.This is a replacement for me as my original has finally wore out, but six years of excellent sharpening is not a bad record, so I look forward to another six years of great sharpening!

East to use. Very effective.

Compact and easy to store and use. Knives have never been as sharp as they are now.

An excellent sharpener! Have had one in almost daily use for a year and now buying them as gifts for all those friends with the standard blunt knives in their kitchen!

I use global knives and these do a great job, good edge achieved, and easy and safe to use
