Nixplay Iris 8 Inch WiFi Digital Photo Frame Silver - Share Moments Instantly via App or E-Mail

I bought the Iris 8 inch frame as a Christmas present. It looked very nice and was easy to set up. It was great - for a few days. For no apparent reason photos began displaying sideways and upside down. I couldn’t correct this using settings. Nixplay support tried to be helpful but to no avail. I tried deleteting and re-uploading photos and resetting the frame a couple of times. Although they displayed correctly for a few days following they would then become disoriented again. This was very frustrating and disappointing and I have returned the frame to Amazon UK now.

Bought one for my office and used the Activity sensor setting where the frame is supposed to turn itself off after a specified period of time when no activity is detected - didn’t work, even on the least sensitive setting. The frame was on all night!So contacted Tech support. After a 45min call where troubleshooting steps and updates were performed, they decided that the item was faulty and they’d send me a new one.Same issue on the 2nd frame. Tech support then sent me a 3rd one.Same issue! Frustrated to say the least as the copper colour goes well in my office.I must say that Tech support was exceptional and they replied very quickly and took ownership of the issue.Ended up returning all three and replaced it with the same 8 inch Seed frame that I have in my living room (black) where I know the Activity Sensor works and the frame turns itself off after 5-10min of inactivity in the room.Even though it is black, I could live with it in my office where I know the settings work as they should.Such a shame though - I had been waiting quite a while to buy this in my Wish list but one of the key features didn’t work so it had to go.

Very nice digital photo frame, actually looks nice to have on a console table unlike the other cheap-looking black plastic affairs. Bright and detailed photos. Smooth transitions. Quite light but still strong and feels good quality.Main problem is the price, £160 for what is essentially a small cheap tablet in a nice case.

The screen is very easy to setup. I used the app and logged in online to get photos onto the frame and both were great and easy to use.The screen quality is good but on the side table in the living room it looks a little small. Wish I brought the 10" nixplay frame but they don't have it in silver unfortunately.The reason for losing 2 stars is that this is a premium product and at the corner of the frame the paintwork isn't great as there are some issues which make the frame look second hand, I've uploaded a picture but it doesn't show the full impact of this issue.This would look great on a bedside table or similar sized area where you are sitting a little closer.

Really happy with the frame. .really easy to set up.. lovely clear picture. .. you have to download the nixplay app onto your phone or ipad and then you can send your photos straight to your frame... really happy with it... I would recommend this frame..

I absolutely love this WiFi frame. Best ever. Even when I’m away I’m sending photos to it so they are on it when I return home. Just been helping Nixplay in uploading videos to it and mine now plays videos. Hopefully this will be universal to all frames very soon. Don’t hesitate get one, you won’t be disappointed. I’m saving up to buy another one.

This frame is great and really easy to use. We got this and within minutes my son had downloaded the app and pictures had started appearing on the screen - fantastic!We've started receiving photos from my friends around the world and we love getting their updates. I'll probably buy one for my Mum next, as she'll love it and I can send her photos from my travels.The silver colour looks great in my kitchen.

No one prints out photos anymore, they sit in files on computers or in our phones. So this frame is a great way of enjoying your photos. It is so very simple to set up and I had the photos from my phone on the frame in a matter of minutes and you can add photos to the frame straight away after taking them. Fantastic product. Big thumbs up.
