I used this is college as a Fine Arts major. My professor used it as reference in your class intro to book binding. This book really helped me out.

I tried my hand at making a book after seeing a picture with a few instructions. It was fun and looks pretty good but I wanted it more professional looking. I'm getting my supplies ready and am anxious to get started. Mine will not look like a book I bought in a store, but I want to give it my mistakes anyway.

Very good bookbinding book. Clear illustrations and clear directions. Much useful information for someone new to this craft. I have several books on this and this is the best.

I have completed a few projects out of this book and found it very informative and the steps easy to follow.

Great and clear book on how to create books. It comes with the very basics and then they show you how to create your own bindings. Useful and friendly!

I have had quite a few book-making books, and this is one of the best I have ever had. It has great photos, good explanations, and just a lot of info for properly making a good, well made book. I highly recommend it.

Très bon bouquin, clair dans ses explications.Je précise quand même que même si le niveau d'anglais est basique dans la formulation, il y a du vocabulaire assez spécifique à apprendre (il y a un glossaire à la fin). Je le conseille aux débutants comme moi, qui veulent apprendre les bases (faire des petits carnets, puis des reliures un peu plus difficiles).Ne pas hésiter à acheter des kits de bookbinding tout fait car ça aide beaucoup d'avoir le bon matériel au début.
