Bright Starts Beaming Buggie Take-Along Toy

The wings are sort of rubbery rather than plastic which was a nice surprise! Better for the baby to chew on I think, and give an extra texture for the baby to investigate. The baby loves the lights, fiddling with the ribbon antenna things, the music, and chewing the wings and the handle bit. From an adult perspective the lights are pretty and the song is inoffensive, pleasant even, as far as these things go. Used ours for hours and hours so far on trips round IKEA and the supermarket and it's still going strong. Keeps the baby entertained and has been a saviour on some long car journeys. 100% recommend, good value toy. Only downside is that the wave sound is very quiet, but the music is nice enough and quite calming on its own so that it isn't too bad just having that on instead.

We bought this to keep our 10 week old occupied and happy in the car. It arrived today and although we haven't tried it in the car yet, we tried in the house and it was a big hit. He was mesmerised by the lights and kept smiling at it, also the music isn't really annoying like a lot of kids electronic toys so hopefully won't drive us crazy! I was worried it might be faulty when I first opened it as the lights worked but the sounds didn't but I took out the batteries it came with and popped some Duracell's in and then it worked fine. The only thing I would possibly suggest as an improvement is that it would be useful for longer car journeys if it played for longer than 15 minutes, but all in all for £6.89 it's a fantastic little toy and my baby loves it. These will be my go to new baby present from now on.

My son was 1 month old when purchasing this, and still is impressed with this toy at 5 months now he can reach it in his play gym. He was into his only musical toy a lot so purchased this to get him another, and with lighting up it holds his attention. The 15 minute light up and music play time is great as you don't have to keep pressing it every 30 seconds. Did think it would be a soft toy when purchasing but do not mind as it hangs above his play gym and on his buggy and he loves it.

My son is 10 weeks and he LOVES this toy! All of his other toys he bores really easily and plays for a few minutes at a time. This bug however he will play with it for long lengths and smiles when he sees it. It's not colour changing but is beautiful toy that lights up blue one side and green the other and red and the sounds and music are great too. Can easily recommend this toy for other babies as mine loves it and is enjoying it so much.

It entertains my son for a while, but then he gets bored. The music and wave sounds are handy, however get repetitive and boring. However, for £10, I’d assume the wings would change colour, but unfortunately they don’t.To be honest though, it isn’t bad! It’s good for the buggy/car seat, or on my sons play mat. I must say it seems more £7 rather than £10, but really, it’s okay! Does the job. Thanks.

This has the choice of lights, wave sounds or music or a combination. It's all very relaxing and our 4 week old loves it plus it auto turns off after 15 minutes. Also I like that it's mobile so I clip onto the car seat and I can see her with the lights at night either in her buggy or the car. For under £10, this really is our little lifesaver and we'll be buying for family and friends who become new parents in the future.

Difficult review. Baby loves this toy. Parents and grandparents have. When it works it’s great. But between us we have bought 4 two were wonderful. Of the others one stopped working and produced sounds for 15 seconds and other wouldn’t switch off. Will keep buying as he constantly picks out his toys and looks so disappointed when music and colours stop. Not that expensive and so worth the costs for the fun it gives. Would urge manufacturers to make a bit more robust. Up to you if you want to spend money when it might not last that long but if it does it’s the best toy ever.

My daughter loves this toy and it really calms her down and makes her grin, would highly recommend. I read reviews saying this didn't work or stopped working, so when after about 5 weeks the time it was on for got shorter and shorter and eventually stopped altogether I assumed we had s duff one too, until I changed the batteries! Lo and behold it started working again. I think the batteries didn't last long enough but they are just normal aaa ones so not really a reflection on the product in my opinion and very easy to change, so now I have a happy 5 month old again
