Good extra reach for little money
This lens is a cheap way to increase reach, and I have got some keepers of the moon with the converter attached. Wildlife is better without as some distortion comes in at 1000mm. Possible to hand hold in good light at 500mm, but a bit soft compared to my 75-300 canon. Better on a tripod or monopod. When compared to cropped pics from 75-300 not bad at all. Works on my eos1300d on aperture priority, manual for best effect. I'm enjoying learning to use a fully manual lens, as it makes me think more about the process. Sharpened photo of the deer, but moon straight from the camera.

Poor
I put this in the bin it did not work on my camera, at the time I did not know how easy it was to return via Amazon

I can see clearly, but not as clearly as I would like.
It' cheap - it brings far stuff closer, but do not expect it to perform like even en entry level Canon or Nikon. For the money, it's not bad.

Impressed, so far!!!!!
I know it's cheap and the price might make buyers wary of the quality, but if you want to dip your toe into telephoto photography, go for it.I doubt it'll last my lifetime but as an introduction to this type of lens, it's perfect for an amateur like me.I used it the other night to take a picture of the full moon and was very happy with the results - no, not of professional quality but good enough for me! I took the image with a Nikon D3200, a tripod and a remote control shutter release and it worked well for me.
