how loud is the unit? Is is too loud to mount in the cab area?

Here is a video I uploaded onto youtube. The compressor is mounted to a piece of 3/4" partical board (I still need to carpet it), which is mounted to some 1"x1"x1/8" angle steel, which I sandwich clamped onto my Garvin Wilderness interior rack in my 2015 Xterra which the legs were wrapped with a few wraps of "F4" or "self fusing tape" as found here on Amazon. The prevents damaging the finish on the legs, and provides another layer of vibration and noise dampening. Does the Air Compressor contains the mounting clamp, backing plate, pressure switch, wire loom and all the mounting hardware? or just the compressor?

I cannot believe Amazon and ARB have not jumped on the fact that they do NOT list "what's in the box"! Shame on Amazon!Check the ARB website.It does indeed come with all you listed above except I am not sure if it has the mounting clamp or backing plate. I bought mine as a replacement for the same unit after 7 years of service. I did not need anything except the compressor. Good luck.

Simple question: Can you run front and rear lockers with this compressor?

Yes you should be able to run both front and rear air lockers off this compressor. As well as air up tires!Thanks

Will this fit and work mounted in the storage pocket under rear srorage on a 2 door 2008 jeep wrangler

i don't know, sorry! Most of the people install it under the hood of the engine, I have also seen it installed under the car near the gas tank, it is really small and you can place it anywhere since you control it from your cabin by a swich. if you are going to use it only to inflate the rubbers, it is fine anywhere, but if it is for use with blockers I recommend you under the engine hood.

Compressor works great! Not too loud, fills up tires quickly after a day on the trails. Also great peace of mind for road trips combined with having plugs and a repair kit with you. Lots of wiring involved with installation, if you are comfortable with installing stereos/soldering/pulling wires then diy it. It is not for the novice installer and I can imagine a shop would be expensive to have installed. It took me several hours to run all the wires to the fuse box and battery/aux switches. I used a separately sold mount for the cargo area of my jeep which I would recommend if putting into a JL unlimited. The inflation kit sold separately is also a good value in my opinion but not included when you buy the compressor. Overall I'm very pleased with the performance of the ARB twin compressor. It suits my needs for airing up after trails and also I'm able to air up various things when I am not near my home compressor (pool floats, stuff like that). I have electronic lockers so I can't comment on their use for air lockers but as a compressor I've aired up 2 sets of 33 inch tires (8 total tires in one go) and it ran like a champ without hesitation. A+ product, hope it lasts!

Works well, easy to attach to the tire's valve stem. Have not tested accuracy of gauge but it is easy to regulate pressure to arrive at intended pressure and I am assuming the gauge is accurate. Overall, a quality product.

No sé si fue por la importación o qué pasó , el producto es original y se ve bien pero llegó abierto y le faltaban cosas y después lo empaquetaron mal y se notaba como si fuera usado , no sé de quién sería la culpa pero lo regresé
