Truly an amazing box:D
So a couple of months ago, I sit at the table in a friends house right. We are playing Dresden Files RPG. and they start talking Doctor Who. Because my GM is also running a Doctor Who RPG.I had a friend with me and I at that time knew that one other guy in our game aside from my friend. When the conversation turns Doctor Who I go. "What's Doctor Who?" and they go "Whatt you don't know Doctor Who?!?! it's a cult British TV show. You got to watch it:D it must be a mistake in how you were raised"Something to that effect in humorous tones obviously. So I sit down and watch a couple of episodes that my m8 has got. And I went "yeah this is Absolutely Fantastic!"Shortly after this I bought this box. I love it, definitely worth the purchase and not expensive at all compared to all the hours of entertainment you get. This is the first 4 season in one box in one go. The box is small, it looks cool and it's just super neat having it all right there. If you come to this page thinking, "hey that looks interesting, should I buy this?"To this I'd say "YES! Do it now, don't think twice about it!"You will be satisfied with this box unless you despise sci-fi then ofc. you shouldn't it's a sci-fi show. Star Wars is the cult of the Movies in sci-fi Doctor Who is the cult in Tv shows for sci-fi.It must be mentioned that this box contains the Christmas specials from "The Christmas Invasion" between season 1 & 2 up until but Not Including "The Next Doctor".The pattern so far have been a season then a Christmas special then the next season. With the end of Season 4 David Tennant (the 10th Doctor) made a series of Specials between season 4 & 5.These are "The Next Doctor", "Planet of the Dead", "Waters of Mars" and "The end of Time" (a two part special)These are not included and are available separately, I've got Doctor Who: The Complete specials, which the box that contain these movies is called, on blu-ray.I presume that Amazon might relate "The Complete specials" due to it's intelligent product relations "thinking" but still I want to provide you with the link for "The Complete Specials" Doctor Who - The Complete Specials [DVD] [2009]Ofc. so some of the fans of the Original show don't get pissed it must be mentioned that this is the Doctor Who show from 2005+ and that there is an Original Doctor Who show from 1963 onwards until 1989 I believe. This is the new "round of Doctor Who" but story wise they are looking at it in the way of Canon, they are connected. But the shows can be watched separately I haven't seen the old show. And I understood everything just fine:)Oh and BTW that Doctor Who RPG I talked about? I am in on it now. As one of the Doctors late incarnations passed the storyline of the current season 5 which has just ended on TV.Here in the end I will just say to you. Enjoy the show!:)

Best thing on TV
Just sped through my box-set in a few days.It is and was great TV isn't it?SERIES 1 - 7/10I never really rated the first series in my head, I always saw it as 'OK' but not on par as the future series. Re-watching it however I realised just how many really great episodes there are.Although at the same time, a few episodes such as the cringe-worthy 'Aliens in London' and 'World War Three' as well as a number of weak episodes drag the series down as a whole.Overall though Bille and Chris were the perfect pair and no one else could have brought the show back in that first series.SERIES 2 - 8/10David Tennants was great in this as usual but not as strong as he'd go on to be in series 3 and 4. While most stories were strong a poor group of episodes towards the end of the series - with the climax of the aweful 'fear her' where the characters seemingly had a personality change between then and the last episode - as well as Rose's moaning growing pretty old.But this is made up for with a fantastic final episode, which has the saddest moment on TV.SERIES 3 - 8/10Series 3 had some really great episodes, other than the Dalek two-parter it was incredibly strong. Freema Agyman gets off to a strong start but soon her acting skills start to break around the corners, and her character became actually a bit useless (culminating in bringing the Master back!!) and too much of a Rose through back.Oh and John Simm was amazing as the Master.SERIES 4 - 10/10 (Simply for Catherine Tate as Donna Noble)Series 4 was great. Donna Noble, Wilf Mott, River Song etc. etc were only some of the great characters in the series. Although Freema returns rather strong in a great Sontaran two-partner, but is complety AND I MEAN COMPLETLY, eg. no use to the plot or anything USELESS! in the Doctor Daughter - which is the only bad episode of the series, and even then it had a good last quarter. Then of course a great three-part finale which is just brilliant, fun, slightly too silly, but great all the same!Would write more but its getting on a bit isn't it? Just read the marks out of 10 - that'll give you everything you need to know.Oh! But if you want nice boxes, eg. designed around the show buy the separate boxsets as this comes with four generic plastic DVD cases, which is fine but if you like the little things then maybe you should go for that.
