My daughter love it and I the sound of silence nearby
I bought these headphones just before a long trip to Brazil. I know my daughter gets annoyed and needs to watch video on her iPAD. It worked really fine, she said they are comfortable and she could wear it for long periods. It is really hard to keep something in a child's ear for a while, but this JVC did the trick. The holding pressure is adequate and that explains why she could have it without removing. The finish is good and it does feel solid and durable, except by the cable. The cable is not excessively thin, but a product designed for kids should have designed with a more robust cable. I didn't notice any wear or defect signal in the cable. The volume is quite reduced, I tested with max volume output on my iPAD and iPhone before giving to my daughter, it won't hurt due to longer usage periods. The stickers that come was very welcome, she worked hard to make it very personal.

Hardwaring good quality kids headphones great value for money.
These are the most brilliant purchase made. I bought them when my D was 3 she is now almost 8 so they have had 5 years of continual use. Maybe more so of late, now she is finding what music she likes!! A godsend in the car for iPad movie watching as she can hear the audio over the car. Not too loud though so she won't damage her ears. Cord long enough but not so long it gets tangled or poses a choke hazard to younger ones. I was just looking at them being used in the last few days thinking I must leave a review for these as they really have been worth every penny. They haven't been treated with kid gloves. They have been dragged / toted / dropped / snagged / and generally well used by a child and have definitely passed the test!! I the same period of time I think I have had three pairs on Sony in ear with mic for my iPhone and they are more expensive too!I can highly recommend these to any parent or caregiver needing to get some peace!! Also quite good insulation. Not too much sound spill.

Great headphones for the kids
A couple of years ago, we started doing long car trips to France during school holidays with the kids. It's a long drive, so bought them both Hudl tablets and loaded them up with movies and TV shows for the journeys. As they both wanted to watch different things, and I wanted to listen to my music during the drive, it was imperative that we needed headphones! These are the best that we found. They come in standard boy/girl colours (if you're happy with the stereotyping), and stickers for the kids to customise them they way they want to. Importantly, they have an inbuilt volume limiter which means that even if the kids turn the volume up on their tablets, they won't hurt their ears. In terms of fit, these are perfect. They're being used by a 4-year old and a 7-year-old and there are no signs that they are going to grow out of them. They have also dealt very well with being thrown around, kicked, dropped and generally mishandled, with no obvious signs of wear.I suspect that you can find cheaper, but in terms of sturdiness, practicability and for the volume limiter alone, they are a great buy.

Mediocre Headphones
Saw all the reviews saying these were great but have to say I have had lots of headphones over the years and although these are designed for kids the volume is limited that much that even turned up full it is still very low for my daughter (shes 5) and asks me to turn it up. I'm not saying I want to damage her ear drums as of course that goes without saying I wouldn't want to do this but the volume is just not good enough. We ended up purchasing a new set by a company called JLab that are designed for kids that are louder and has a volume control on the headphones itself as well as being able to fold them down when travelling.

Headphones fab but stickers waste of time!
Purchased for daughter to use on summer holiday to use with innotab and a portable DVD player. Headphones are comfortable and not too loud. Nice short wire so no problems with getting tangled.daughter loves them and the colours are nice and bright.Only disappointment was the stickers - thought they would be a nice way to personalise them but they keep lifting off or falling off completely and shes only being using them for 10 days! Fed up of having to keep pressing them down after every use or even search for letters around the car etc to fill in bits of her name - only enough stickers to write name twice! Don't let the stickers be the reason you buy as they won't be on for long!

No more Little Mix and One Direction :-) :-) :-)
After being driven crazy by my five year old daughter playing Little Mix and One Direction full blast on her tablet non-stop I bought these wonderful headphones and have been smiling ever since :-) She loves them too!It was worrying me how loud my daughter was listening to music once she learnt what volume button did, so I love that these headphones have volume control. No matter how loud she turns the volume up they won't go loud enough to damage her ears. They also come with stickers to personalise them, which was a nice added bonus which stops them getting mixed up with friends / siblings. They are very cute - the perfect size for a five year old and they are adjustable so that they will last her a good few years. They've been sat on and stood on a few times and haven't broken, so quality-wise they should last too!!

Good
My daughter seemed to like these - they were on her head for 45 minutes solid whilst watching a film on the iPad before we took them off her ans she seemed happy as a pig in...mud.The "Design your own" element is a nice touch, but wears off after 5 minutes when they are covered in shiny stars and you are picking pony stickers out of her hair. :)Would deffo recommend to purchase though as they are far better than any others i have seen - built for kids - and anything is better than listening to Dori do her whale impression for the 500th time in Finding Nemo! haha
