Calcivet 100ml (Liquid Calcium & D3) - The Birdcare Company

I’ve been using this to help my rescue parrot. She plucked herself almost bald. I changed her diet making fresh chop (after buying the chop cookbook set from BirdTricks) and eliminating shop bought parrot food and introducing cold pressed pellets. The avian vet said once a parrot plucks it’s usually behavioural and they never usually stop as it becomes a habit, they also Said that due to follicle damage, they don’t usually grow back……my girl is almost fully feathered! The diet together with this supplement and doing research to simulate their environment to what it would be like in the wild, and I have a feathered Amazon! She should be fully grown in by Xmas and flying!

Bought this to supplement my 2 African Greys, easy to dose and they don’t seem to notice a difference in taste of the water! Recommended.

Very expensive stuff, however, it is essential for parrots to have calcium and vitamins to keep them healthy. So if it works, it's worth it. Exotic pet specialist said the parrots must be given it.

Good price it lasts for a good few months, (only use twice a week) paid £7 for a smaller one from pet shop which only lasted a month exact same thing as pet shop but bigger

Bought to add to my cockatoo's water. It must be flavourless as she drinks the water no problem and she is very fussy.

First time ive used this calcium d make as i could no longer get the one ive been using for 14 years....I can say my grey drinks the water with this in without any problems....We can only trust it works there is no way of knowing i dont think..

Quality and delivery very good but a bit expensive; only a small bottle which won’t go far.

I use this for my parrots once a week I have used this for 17 years. It really helps with their health.
