Bin zufrieden
Passt!

Absolutely love it!
Fantastic product, have used the bag for about 8 trips now and absolutely love it, great features, very comfortable and really good quality. Have already recommended it to a number of my friends. I looked through a number of bags before getting this and can tell you quality, weight & features Vs price point ratio - This product has the best balance! Would highly recommend it!

A solid long-haul pack
I purchased this pack nearly a year ago, and since then I have put about a hundred miles (or so) on it. Let me give you the rundown:Pro’s: This pack is a solid piece of equipment. Well made, well stitched and tight. I have yet to hear a creak or squeak. A few of the zippers can be a bit grabby, but I can live with that. This pack can hold (and) carry 80 L plus. With a floating, removable, top pack, you can even strap a bear vault to this pack and extend the capacity by 7 plus more liters. Took this pack on a extended trip through the Indian Peaks Wilderness and it carried all my gear plus a number of items for my three teenage sons. Although at times I wished for lighter pack, it handled the load very well. The front panel excess is fantastic. I have never liked the “dig from the top down” design of most internal frames, and being able to get at anything via the front (and the side and the bottom) of the pack is awesome. This pack fits and rides like a dream. I hauled over fifty pounds on a recent trip (had to help another hiker), and although I was hauling more than I wanted to haul, the pack felt beautiful. It locks right on to your hips and stays put.The adjust as-you go suspension system works really well. Once adjusted (which was e-z), this pack fit right with my center of gravity and did not shift around.Con’s: This pack is heavy, coming in much closer to 6 lbs then 5.5 lbs. It is designed to carry 80 L (plus), so this should come as no surprise.Nature abhors a vacuum… This pack is not, IMHO, a good choir for an all-around pack. As backpackers we have a tendency to fill up the space that we are given, and this pack will certainly encourage that. For trips around 1 to 3 (or MAYBE 4) days I use a 65 L (either an external frame by Alps Mountaineering or the Osprey Atmos 65) pack. For long hauls and carrying stuff for other hikers (like my kids), this is my go to pack.Bottom-line: If you are looking for a solid, well-fitting long-haul pack, the Coyote 80 will serve you very well.

Rugged, Spacious, and Efficient.
Great product! First use was an 8 day/7 night trip in ONP back country. Had no problem with space/organization of gear, including the ol' bear vault (BV500). Comfort and durability were steller. The detachable day pack was essential as I didnt want to have to carry a separate bag for the day hikes we did every day. The colors are much more appealing when you see it in person, the pics do not do it justice. I would definitely recommend this pack to others.

it's nice having so much room
Pack is quite large and heavy. If you don't mind the weight, it's nice having so much room. I'd recommend a different pack if you are going on week long thru hiking trips. The beauty of this pack is it's value, it is decently comfortable and durable at an excellent price point. There are lighter, more comfortable, durable packs but they are hundreds of dollars more. A great entry level pack or for the weekend warrior.
