At first I saw the price and cringed. [...] in all for some cards! You gotta be kidding I thought.After looking around, I found this (Amazon) the only place to buy them at this price. All other places were higher priced.Then after receiving them and playing with them, I saw the price broken down. Let me explain.Say £20 (approx)spent on these cards. The first use we played with these cards for 3 hours. Each subsequent game lasts about the same.We have had about 4 games now, so 12 hours use for £20. £1.66 per hour. For 6 people to have a great laugh, these days this works out pretty cheap! The more games we have, the better value they become.In short, these cards are great value for money and it's nice to spend time with friends and family without the blooming TV on!Would recommend if you love Articulate and (like us) know the original cards by heart!

I assume if you're looking at this expansion you already own Articulate and know what it's about, so you probably know what to expect. These cards are really just more of the same, and add a lot more variety to this great group game. I think I might even prefer them to the original cards as they had to be a bit more imaginative with the words after using up the more obvious ones in the original!They seem expensive at first glance for just some bits of card, but they double the number of words and add a lot more hours of fun, so they really don't work out as that much in the long run. Having probably played over a 100 games of Articulate, they're especially great if you've got to the point of knowing the best way to describe most of the original words, and they completely refresh the gameplay again. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone that owns and enjoys the original game.

A great way to update a brilliant family game. Our original edition was quite tricky for many folk under 40 to know who many of the people on the 'persons' section were. The new 'persons' are more modern...but still not all known to early 20 something's and below. Slight irritation that they do not come in a box and lid inside the main box....just a lid that will not allow for easy removal of the cards as they are the same height. As they are genuine update cards (?) and not 'compatibles' I thought this was a bit odd. And as my title says quite expensive as you have already at some point purchased the game and are therefore a loyal and repeat customer!!However, other than minor disappointments, I am pleased with the product and would recommend to prolong the playability of a great family game.

Great to have another set of questions. Totally new and makes the game harder to play again. Brings back the fun as you can only answer a few questions each round as you have to think of new ways to explain. We had got to the point where the old cards were too easy.

I mean, this cost a lot for what it is but I got it for my brother as a gift cos he's a real board game enthusiast and they got through the main pack very quickly. He seems to enjoy this expansion pack but he did say the Person category is even more difficult than the original.

Brilliant new questions, wish I’d purchased them earlier.

We were given extra cards as a present last year which was great. Most played game I think we've ever had, everyone seems to like this game and to be able to play as individuals or teams is great, no one gets left out. This 'extra card box' is a gift for my daughter who I know will love the new cards. We could do with another box of new cards so I hope the manufacturer produces a second extra card pack. GB

The cards contain many doubles from the original game, and many of the new entries are very strange, such as having "the milkman" under Person
