Kinetik Blood Pressure Lowering System
Small, compact and easy to store. Easy to set up and use. Comes with easy to understand instructions. I have been using this machine now for 3 weeks and it has lowered my blood pressure. That is the key - use it as per the instructions (regularly). Overall, I feel this machine is good value for money, especially when you compare it against the other makes available, which cost a lot more money.

Found the machine difficult to use the annoying voice keeps saying tighten the sensor belt loosen the sensor belt the music isn't particularly relaxing either machine itself not very easy to understand either I would imagine after using this my blood pressure would be even higher! I do not know how anyone can get the belt at the right position.

Hard to use
Although I have had a series of similar devices I find this one particularly difficult to use! The belt with its sensor are harder to get into the correct position than other makes . It might be because the belt is wider? It seems to register that the belt needs tightening when it is literally falling off, it is hard to position it correctly, very frustrating and not conducive to relaxed deep breathing. It was very reasonably priced so I am persevering with it.

help lower BP?
A totally frustrating contraption. I have had it for two weeks now and all it does is constantly instructs me to loosen or tighten the sensor belt. It doesn't give me time to alter it before it gives the opposite instruction. So far a complete waste of money.

Works very well with little effort
Bought for my husband whose blood pressure was worrying him let alone everyone else. He says it is very easy to use and now, after a few months, he can do the exercises whenever he feels like it even without the machine. I'd guess that a competent nurse specialist could teach this but what the machine does is it helps to make you make time every day to do the exercises which you might not bother to do without it.

Alternative Blood Pressure System
I'm very pleased with this purchase. It is very little and handy. It has the same results as other in the market although it has a better breathing control. It is also cheapper than others in the market. I highly recommend it

Piece of junk
I have in the past used a "Resparate" device with absolutely no problems at all until I dropped it and broke it. I decided to try this Kinetik device as it is a whole lot cheaper. Less than half the price. It arrived a few days ago and so far I have tried this for three days so far and all I get is a constant "Tighten the sensor belt" immediately followed by "Loosen the sensor belt". Over and over again. This goes on even when the scale thingy on the left of the screen shows the breathing rate. After ten minutes of listening to it, my blood pressure was probably higher than when I started the treatment. The "music" is not at all what I would term as being music; in fact it is incredibly annoying (even more annoying than the chap the was once seven years old). The earphones are those silly little things that sit in ones ears and I find them impossible to keep in -- I didn't even unwrap those and used my own proper headphones.I'm going to return the item to see if I can get a refund.

"Loosen the sensor belt." I loosen the belt by about a millimetre. "Tighten the sensor belt." I tighten the belt by a hair's-width. "Loosen the sensor belt." Repeat a dozen or so times. Throw in some chronically cheesy new-age burbly music sounding as if played underwater, and a hysterical woman commanding "In! Out!" and you will see that the only way this product will lower your blood pressure is when you put it back in its box.I tried the various tricks described by other reviewers (for which thanks!), inverting the sensor, etc., and found that the only way that worked semi-reliably for me was to take off the elastic band and trigger the sensor manually (!) stretching and loosening the belt by minute amounts near the sensor in time with my breathing. My breathing rate is normally fairly low (10-12 bpm) and this thing, when it works, brings me up to 30 breaths per minute only to bring it back down slowly to under 10 bpm -- when it doesn't go into one of its "Loosen the sensor belt. No, tighten the sensor belt" moods. At least it came with a nice faux-velvet bag. I am very glad indeed I paid nowhere near full price for this frankly pathetic product.
