How many sauna stones do I need?

This depends on the size and design of your sauna oven. Whether the oven is to be completely filled or only the heating elements should be covered, please refer to the nameplate or the instructions for use of the oven.

What size of stones is ideal?

Larger stones retain more heat, smaller stones release heat faster. We recommend a mix of large and small stones. This ensures better air circulation and a balanced sauna session.

Where do the stones come from?

We build our sauna stones ourselves in our own quarries in northern Bavaria.

How often should the stones be cleaned?

We recommend cleaning the stones thoroughly at least once a year.

When should the stones be changed?

If the performance of the stones decreases significantly or visible cracks/crumbs are present, the stones should be replaced. In private saunas, it is recommended to change every 2-4 years, in commercial saunas annually.
