Brilliant( no pun intended).I use a job supplied LED lenser P7 thingy at work. This is less than a third of the price , but has a dazzling performance ( OK.. That WAS a pun )Compare to the Lenser, the beam is a teeny weeny less powerful, the CREE diode in this torch when focused on tight beam , leaves a square projection on the house opposite over the road 50 metres away, my work LENSER leaves a round image.Personally, I don't mind, the build quality is good, , batteries have not run out in several months of intermittent use. I have worked nights for 30 years. This torch is far better than an old 3 D cell Maglight. ever was .. Soooooo much lighter. And more powerful.If work are buying,, have a lenser.. If YOU are buying, save the pennies and get this one.. I would buy another immediately if I lost mine.NO.. I DID NOT RECEIVE A FREE ONE.. I BOUGHT ONE.. WITH MY MONEY!NO.. I DO NOT WORK FOR THE COMPANYYES. I BELIEVE IN SAYING IF SOMETHING IS WORTH WHAT YOU PAY.. THIS IS.

This, without doubt, is the best Torch I've ever owned.The torch is relatively small but it packs a real punch in terms of the light it produces.When you use the "Spotlight" function, by simply pulling on the end piece to focus the light its hard to believe how far you can actually use it for. Then, by pushing it back in you get the standard light which covers a larger area, but doesn't quite travel as far.The build quality for the price is brilliant and it comes with batteries (a good brand I will add) which means your ready to go.I used this for a festival and it was a god send when trying to find my tent (whilst very inebriated).If you're after a torch, look no further. Don't let the price make you think its cheap. Its a very well made and thought out product producing great light which rivals much bigger and bulkier torches.

Purchased three of these torches to replace old filament type torches.The unit came supplied with Duracell batteries and once installed in this very light weight torch the unit burst into life.The bean can be broadened or narrowed by pushing and pulling the bezel at the front of the torch back an forth; most other units I have used require the bezel to be twisted to achieve this. The beam is reasonable when compared to the US police style (much more expensive) torches. When utilising the narrow beam focused on a wall you can see the square shape of the LED; this looks really weird but does not detract from its functionality. The light emanating from the LED definitely has a blue tinge to it and is not quite as bright as the much more expensive brands but none the less is about 10x as bright as the old filament torches that I purchased these units to replace.All in all the units are light weight, function well and battery life appears to be reasonable. the square beam is weird looking and the units feel not as well made as other units I've tested e.g. the on off switch feels flimsy and the light not quite white. However the big positive for these torches is the price when compared to similar products.

I ordered 3 of these torches to take in the car and to use in the unlit country lanes and roads around my house and to keep an eye on my dog when he is in the garden. They arrived very promptly and were well packaged. These torches are super bright and feel very solidly made. The light produced is flawless with no dark patches. Perfect size and weight to put in your jacket pocket, handbag or car glove compartment. Fits nicely in the hand and the adjustable zoom allows you to focus the beam far in the distance or expand the light to illuminate the garden. The dog or anyone else cannot hide in the darkness any more! In the house it lights up a room like a 100w bulb. Very good torch for the money and the best light I have ever had from a torch. I don't often write reviews but this product impressed me because it is as good as the company say it is.

I wanted a good torch for my old mother, chose this, put it in my basket, and when I went to buy it a couple of days later, it had gone up by £3. I was in a hurry to get her it so I just bought it. At the original price of £8+ it's a good quality item with a bright light and a good spread with the thingy wound back. The button is at the end of the torch, which was a bit awkward for my mother, at first, but she got the hang of it eventually. I want one for myself but I think, at £11+, I can get better than this - or get similar, cheaper. Good but overpriced,.

This is a really great little torch. In fact, it is the best torch I now own and it is the smallest torch too! I like to keep a torch in my handbag as they turn the street lights out where I live. It is VERY dark on the way back to my house and having this torch to light the way is great. It is a very bright and clear light. The scope of the lit area is adjustable by twisting the top. I also used it for a camping weekend recently and it was perfect for that too. I am considering buying a few more. If you don't mind a small torch, then do not hesitate. Don't be phased by the size and think that the quality of light may not be good.... it's great!

I have bought many torches over the years but this is by far the best of the bunch. Perfect size for my needs. This torch has superb range, better than I hoped.I work on a holiday campsite so having a good light is very important for night time pitching of caravans - it is near impossible in the dark, but with this torch I can not only walk in the dark whilst keeping a strong light on myself and the path in front but by narrowing the beam i can point out exactly where I want others to look.This is a superb addition to any kit and has already been noted by campers how good it is. I only wish I was on commission.

Update:I originally purchased 4 lights for my elderly mother. She loved them so much that she purchased 15 more flashlights to give as gift for the holidays. These are a very well made simple to use flashlight. I would highly recomend this product.UPDATE: I liked the flashlights so much when I purchased them in March I just purchased another 6 for gifts for the holigays. I bought four of these for my elderly mother who has bad arthritis in her hands. These are light weight and are easy to turn on and off. There are no modes to make it complicated. They are very easy to adjust the beam of the light. The use of normal AAA batteries is a big plus. My mom was using 2 pound D cell Mag Lights. I was fearful that she was going to drop one and break a foot. These were the perfect solution.

Flashlight worked perfect out of the box. The beam adjust was smooth and stayed in place after adjustment. I can easily spotlight my dogs 100 feet away at night. Came with Duracell triple A's so that is a bonus. The negatives are that there is not a high/low beam option and given all the competition I think I will find an equivalent to this light for half the price that has a high/low beam option. Works well so far and pretty dang bright.

I purchased 2 of these flashlights to add to our emergency kit expecting something that would just get us by. What I received was a super little flashlight that exceeded my expectations. I've tried to find similar flashlights in the retail stores but most were too large or too expensive for my intended use. This super bright adjustable beam LED flashlight has a strong,lightweight,well made metal case, 3 batteries and a nice carrying strap that should perform well under all types of conditions. The packaging was excellent as it not only came in its own box but included bubble wrap to protect it during shipment.I would highly recommend this flashlight as the quality is far worth the price that you will pay.

I have trained myself to give the sliding beam adjustment a twist (on all three flashlights) first before attempting adjustment due to being overly sticky, which makes it a two handed operation for use of the flashlight. On-off button can be a little finicky if your thumb/finger is a bit off center while pressing down on the switch.Update: Lite use over last two years and now the push button switch is failing, avoid poor quality.
