Rarely do I come across a truly innovative gadget that makes life easier to the extent that I feel compelled to tell a few of my closest friends about it, let alone write a publicly viewable review about it. The SprkCharger is one such gadget. This device serves as both a handy money clip with just the right capacity to handle the cards and bills you really need to carry, as well as being an auxiliary battery to keep your phone charged during those times when you need an on-the-go power source and you really don’t want to carry a separate power bank that’s typically larger and heavier than the phone you are trying to keep charged. The innovative magnetic connection system is ingenious – and something a lot of folks have never seen. I like the “industrial” aesthetic of the unit, the fact that the clip is metal, not plastic, the fact that it could probably survive a 100-ft drop onto granite due to the way it’s built with the metallic case cradling the battery (this thing is built TOUGH), and the fact that the unit is highly functional. It’s always with you as a money clip, so that extra power is right there - available and working when you need it.It’s really tough for me to find any negatives to this device. My wife and I both live extremely active, outdoor lifestyles that include camping, hiking, off-roading, boating, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, etc. If you are into outdoor activities and have a lifestyle where things might get knocked-around a bit, dropped from time to time or might get jostled around in a tackle-box or tool box here and there, or get thrown into a bag with your carabiners and climbing gear, this unit will be a great fit for you. It’s probably not something your wife or girlfriend would carry in the pocket of a sundress due to the possibility of the metal clip/cradle potentially snagging very thin fabric, but my wife just throws it in her purse or handbag…and she’s got power to go (along with cash and credit cards)! She likes it so much, I just ordered a second one in the Silver/Black finish for her. Bottom line – it’s a really cool, functional wallet-charger, and in my opinion it’s the perfect unit for anyone on the go who, as the slogan says, wants to “stay in charge.”

There's such a thing as being TOO innovative. It applies here. The idea of a wallet with an emergency battery is great, but the implementation lacks.First, the charging adapters are magnetically connected to the cable. It allows them to swivel in any direction. Unfortunately, they are also impossible for me to remove from the device without either breaking a nail or using pliers.Second, and most crucial, the battery uses a custom cable for charging. This is a show-stopper for me. Sorry, I'm not carrying a special snowflake cable for the wallet.

I hate carrying a wallet, especially in my back pocket. I have a bad lower back and over time, sitting on a thick leather wallet with receipts, pictures, cards, cash, and whatever else I deem important enough to keep. I tried this option and it works perfectly! I love the two tone color combination as well as the functionality.It's SO much easier to grab a credit card or ID with this wallet than with fighting the traditional leather wallets. One of my favorite features is the fact that IF I don't want to carry all of my cards at once, I don't have to worry about the leather sleaves being stretched and not keeping my cards in the wallet because its stretched.Lastly, the phone charging feature was perfect for my last airport trip when all the outlets at the airport were taken. This makes it more convenient and I don't have to carry a heavy charging brick!

I love the idea. Brilliant. But I hate the magnet connectors. iPhone charger adapter gets stuck, difficult to remove it. Metal finish is easy to scratch.

Older iphone battery keeps on dying, so glad to have a battery with me everywhere I go! usb-c is nice bonus too for headphones. Looking forward to all the conversations I'll be able to start with my unique wallet!

Nice compact design. Very clean and attractive look. The magnetic ends work perfectly, although they are only compatible with themselves and can get lost.

This is a cool concept and I am sure for some it will work. Not my cup of tea though.
