Tower Kitchen Knife Set with Rotating Acrylic Knife Block, Stainless Steel, Black, 7 Pieces

When I unpacked these knifes I thought what a great design. The knife holder looks great quality and the black blades added to the contemporary design. To begin with the handles had a great feel a non slip mat rubberised feel & the blades were sharpe.BUT after a month of hand washing the rubberised handles started to peel and that great look suddenly didn’t look so great.We’ve just moved in & don’t have a dish washer just waiting for the new kitchen so everything is hand washed. But even that can’t save these knives. Sadly they don’t perform. If you just want a decorative display & will only use them once a flood then OK, but don’t buy them for daily use they’ll be looking like ours in no time at all.The only reason I’ve not given them one star across the board is the knife rack is great. So are the scissors & blade sharpener.

Very unhappy that after 5 months of owning these knifes that the black coating has started to come off and make the set look very nasty.The knifes themselves are quiet strong and sharpen nice if you know what and how to.If all you want is a show piece then these will do the job just fine

We bought these thinking that they would be a sort of set that would last us a few years until we could buy more expensive one. I didn’t have high hopes but I wanted something that wasn’t going to be cheap and nasty too. So with that mindset, I was absolutely delighted when they arrived. The holder is stylish, the blades are super sharp and easy to keep that way with the sharpening rod, and there’s a great selection for your money. It did take me a few uses to get used to the new handles but I find them very comfy now. Very happy with this purchase!

Good value for money. The knives are sharp and love the steel handle as you can put them in the dishwasher too. Nice to have a knife sharpener and scissors with the set. The stand is the only downfall as it’s made of a cheap plastic material. The 360 degrees is a nice feature I guess. Although, I would have preferred it to be stationary or a lock mechanism on the base, as it can cause a potential hazard when putting the knives back in the stand if it rotates!!

Great set of knifes.. the scissors are not to my liking but they work fine and go with the look of the set. The knifes are very sharp and are a good weight - I expect they will last a good amount of time. Stand is also good.

Very stylish

Very nice design and handy, however they lost sharpness quite quickly and although I wash the knives only by hands (no dishwasher) the started to lose the black colour after approximately 4 months

The stand fell apart and one of the knives fell out, narrowly missing my foot ! The knife sheared into two. Very disappointed as I have previously purchased TOWER products and had been delighted with them.I plan to return them but a little worried about the safety of posting knives
