Tamagotchi P's Melody Land Set

I ordered this at the tail-end of May, and I paid a little extra for expedited shipping. It arrived exactly when it said (though the wait was still agonizing).First of all, this Tamagotchi is in Japanese- all of it. There exists a downloadable patch online to translate the menus to English plus at least 15 guides on implementation, but I chose not to install it. Therefore, I cannot verify the English patch's validity.The toy is absolutely adorable. There are so many cute, fun features, and while they're not 100% clear right off the bat, they're very easily intuitive. Plus, with some googling, it's pretty easy to figure out what you're supposed to do... Though this does make this more of an Adult game and lwss of a Child game.The three minigames are fairly simple to figure put, and while it's repetitive to try to earn money for items, once your Tama reaches adulthood you're able to get them a very nice part-time job. They go ti school when you're at school, daycare when they're babies, and they have personalities that you can affect depending on items you buy and food you feed them. Every time they evolve, moe options become available to you. There's multiplayer, some kind of family mode if you connect with a Tama of the opposite gender (this is untested in my case- I've only read up a little on it).As for the Love/Melody land pierce, it adds some very cute items, tamas, and decorations to the game. It's fun to imagine what new things each Pierce will give me, and I plan to get a new one next paycheck.All in all, it is adorable, and there is so much to do and look forward to even after your tama is fully grown and you've achieved the baby you followed all those online guides to achieve.My only complaint is that the buttons are finnicky. They require either just the right press, not too fast, and not too hard, or it doesn't register. One game in particular, the jump rope game, doesn't pair well with it, but it's relatively easy to ignore.

Estimated delivery was Oct 22nd but arrived Sept 29th. Product came with batteries and it's well packaged and the colour display is really clear and is much better than traditional non-colour tamagotchi's. Highly recommended for any tamagotchi lovers!

It came too fast in spite of it was from far away. I turned on and loved it. It had a good price.

Etant petite, j'avais trois Tamagotchi différents et j'adorai jouer avec. Depuis la sortie de la version "friends" que l'on trouve en Europe, j'avais envie de retrouver ce plaisir en tant qu'adulte. Et c'est chose faite avec ce petit bijoux ! Un contenu conséquent (encore plus avec le système "USB" à l'avant du Tamagotchi), un écran aux couleurs éclatantes et un rétro éclairage bien réglé. Vraiment, je suis ravie de ce Tamagotchi qui est, pour beaucoup de fans comme moi, le meilleur que le Japon est pu faire ! Quelle dommage qu'il ne soit pas commercialisé en France, il ferait un carton. Du coup, tout le texte est en japonais mais on retrouve vite ses marques malgré les nombreuses nouveautés =)

Das Tamagotchi P's kommt mit einigen Neuerungen gegenüber dem ID L.Zum einen ist das Aussehen wieder etwas geändert worden. Die Oberseite ist komplett flacher geworden Dann gibt es nun die Pierces, mit denen man das Tamagotchi erweitern kann. Je nach Pierce gibt es versch. Items zu kaufen, andere Charaktere, neue Spiele oder einfach nur Verwandlungen für deinen Charakter.Die Menüführung ist in japanisch, was aber wenig stört, da das meiste sich von selbst erklärt, oder im Internet findet man auch viel Hilfe.Das Menü an sich ist nun auch etwas anders Gestaltet (z.B. wird der Sound nicht mehr über Tastenkombination ausgestellt, sondern ist im ersten Menü (Waage) zu finden). Das Tamagotchi kann man nun auch tagsüber in eine KiTa & zur schule bringen. Die erwachsenen Charaktere können Jobs bekommen. So ist das Tamagotchi versorgt, während man in der Schule oder an der Arbeit ist.Im Garten spielt sich nun auch mehr ab (Besuch, evtl. verkauft man etwas...)Aber auch alte Funktionen sind natürlich wieder dabei (Essen vom Kühlschrank, Restaurant oder Café; Häufchen weg machen; baden; Freunde via Infrarot besuchen; Charaktere sammeln; Spiele spielen; die Happy-Symbole sind nun Puzzleteile; Haustiere adoptieren usw.)Alles in allem wieder richtig schön & liebevoll gestaltet. Lohnt sich auf jeden Fall!
