Are they really waterproof?

Certainly not waterproof.   Worn 8 weeks and whilst walking in wet grass, not even raining, ended up with soaked socks. Would not give them 1 star. Cannot get any satisfaction, or even an answer from seller or Amazon to resolve!!! Not good business practice, and about time these suppliers stopped saying they are waterproof.    I have paid all sorts of prices to get waterproof boots to walk my dog, and most have let in.   It` hopeless and wants looking into.

Is the sole heat resistant

I buy them for the second time This say a lot, I hope :)
I can not 'ask this boots to ressist to the work I am doing' same as 90% of the boots.i work by the Harboiur,12 h zhift, stones, water come up,down,up
 Basicly i put them on fhe worst "rally' you can imagine. A work mate brought a pair of boots for 2.5x price to this boots. 5 dais.boom. I work in Aberdeen Hardour, Scotland, bad weather and salty water, wich destroy everything.  Happy with them. Juat found out today feom work , about a propper boots for what i am doing,regarding environment, weather etc. But they cost around , 5-6 times more than this.
Nail it . Good value for money. Will come back with picture about working place and will look when brought them to give an exactly lifetime regarding bad condition. HURAAA:)

My shoe size is 9.5, will 9 be good enough or should i get 10?

I am the same so bought size 10. Initially were good fit but after some use they become more flexible .now I wear thick socks and find them comfy for work and walking the dog.Definatley recommend them.
