Tru Thoughts Label and Producers At Their Finest! I call it nu-soul. Whether you know much about tru Thoughts or not this is a stand alone well made album. You could say that it is similar to some of Quantics work and being a fan of Quantic I'm in. But this has it's own style and sound that places it firmly into the respected underground beat based soulful productions of recent years. There are many great tracks here and with varying levels of tempo it takes you up and down nicely. Well made touches of hiphop, funk, Jazzy house and vocal make it an all round accomplished album.

If you are into your tru thoughts-ninja-gcentral tunes then i really recommend this album.I'm a big fan of bonobo and this led the way to discovering tru thoughts, a really cool label (just simple down to earth laid back beats). I picked up this album down in Brighton last weekend, its a cool place, it was a great weekend, and this album was the perfect soundtrack. Funky, chilled, melodic, soulful, just really brilliant. Some of the tracks feature the singer Laura Vaine (I think)who has a wonderful voice and really complements the music. Please investigate people, this is special!
