True to size, lightweight, no breaking in and waterproof. Perfect walking shoe and I'm now considering purchasing a boot by Peter Storm.

I bought these shoes for daily dog walking of 1.5 - 2 hours. They are comfortable and support my feet so they aren't sore or tired after walking 4 or 5 miles.I bought my usual size but found the sizing small, not by a lot but just enough for them to be a bit tight and definitely wouldn't be able to fit thick winter socks. I had to buy a shoe stretcher to stretch them a little bit and they've been really comfortable sinceThe sole grip is fine on grass, pebbles, mud / dirt and surfaces with a rough texture. It can feel a bit slippery after rain on cobblestones, smooth cement, smooth road surfaces, large rocks, train station steps etcI would describe them as having a high level of water resistance but not waterproof. They'll keep your feet dry in wet grass, mud, sporadic puddles. I recently wore them for about an hour in a marshy area after rain so there was some short stretches of a few metres of shallow lying water and my feet got wet by the end of the walk - they weren't squelching but definitely not completely dry either. So good for summer walking, your local park in winter or sticking to pathways, but not waterproof in wetter areas.Overall, a good buy for the price and I would buy them again

Comfy shoes. Amazon recommended me a size larger (UK5) than I normally order (UK4) and in the end it ended up being a size or half a size too large--but just as well, I now have a pair of shoes that can also fit my orthodics. So these definitely should have fit perfectly had I ordered my original size.
