DEWALT , Black/Yellow Dws774 216mm Xps Slide Mitre Saw 110 Volt Dws774-lx

A well built and versatile piece of equipment for the pro or experienced DIY. Out of the box, the blade required a little adjustment but it worked very well and gave very clean cuts. If you are cutting anything larger than 3" in depth, get the bigger brother! The slide works a treat but the dust extraction comes out of the back of the machine. This should have been made adjustable at a right angle to be of any benefit esp if space is limited. I have owned other DeWalt power tools and reliability was never a problem. I expect the same from this unit.

It’s says compact I thought it was gonna be diddy. It’s a decent size and will easily cut through everything I need it to. Simple to set up and it slides with ease. Screw fix sell the older model for more money ( it’s the dws773) where as this one has a more powerful motor, a light that kicks in when you power it up which is great idea. Some of the laser lines need tweaking after a while. Better dust extraction. Overall an amazing bit of kit would highly recommend.

Compact, lightweight and bang on accurate after 5 minute adjustment. Ignore daft review about it being inaccurate you always have to set up a new saw. Absolutely brilliant value for money at £180. Will pay for itself in no time. No trenching feature at this price point. Would be nice if it came with a dust bag but doesn’t take away from what a good cheap saw it is whatsoever. Perfect 2nd fix saw and I’m sure it could handle 1st fix too.

Excellent for small work and portability - doesn’t have all the attributes for workshop use but great for mitres and really simple to use

Like that it is quite compact so easy to transport. Needed adjusting to get 45 deg mitres right but that was easy once I checked the instructions. Well made, safe and easy to operate.

Don't trust it for accuracy in the slightest, everything about it feels cheap and not up to Dewalts usual standard. I've the Dcs777 basically the cordless version of this saw and it's infinitely better, sturdier and accurate.Rails move side to side very easily , positive stops are awful, the lights works when it feels like it. I leave this one on site already because I don't even care if it gets stolen

Beautiful quality. Excellent tool.It cannot be used on domestic UK mains. Needs a transformer if you're planning on using at home.

Tolle Kappsäge!!!Nur leider hat sie einen Stecker aus England als Anschluss. Das war in der Anzeige nirgends zu lesen und auch im voraus nicht zu erkennen, dass die Kappsäge aus England kommt! SCHADE! Ein Reisesteckeradapter passt leider auch nicht.
