Handy little addition to the home tools
Been looking for a small vac like this for years, at least at a decent price and uses my Makita batteries. Just something you can grab quick and pick up small messes, quick home project debris, around the cats food bowl and liter box. Built pretty sturdy, decent suction even on low, on board attachment storage is a plus and small enough to slide behind the couch for speedy access. The hepa filter is HUGE lol, so its gonna take a while before cleaning or changing that one out. I've been using a fully charged 9AH LXT battery off and on for the past couple weeks now and its just hitting the one bar left and still works great. Its light enough to hold in one hand while using it. The larger Makita battery 9AH just barely fits, but the clear door doesn't close completely as with the smaller size, about a 1/4" gap. One of the small magnets on the battery door fell out on mine, so keep an eye out for that happening. I'm hoping to adapt this to use on my Makita router dust collar and also the Makita planer dust collector. I'm in the process of adapting one of my Dyson's agitator carpet attachments to connect to the hose, just have to wire up a switch and extra battery for that now. That will help out quite a bit, having a spinning brush. All in all, I think people will be very happy with this little gem, especially for the price it's at now, and for those of us Makita enthusiasts, well worth every penny. I have yet to test this out on any liquids, but if I need to quickly evacuate the water from a fish tank, I'll be sure and update. I did notice however, there are two pointy screws coming out from underneath the cover, that is not a manufacture defect, Do Not cover those up, they are for the water sensor that shuts off the vacuum when a liquid reaches that level, to save the motor. Just a heads up. Hope you enjoy your purchase as much as I have. Like I said, comes in handy for those clean ups a bit above those tiny hand held vacuums, but not quite big enough to dig the large home vac or shop vac out of the closet. Any questions, feel free to ask away. I'll do my best to answer them.

Works great considering it's 18volt battery powered
With it's small size and featherlight weight, cleaning small areas after myself is a breeze now! I am a carpenter and own a big corded rigid shop vac and a dust-bustint size Makita battery vac. This is the Goldie Lox of vacuum size. I opted off brand bc reviews were better along with the price opposed to Makita brand.I AM SATISFIED

Just what I was looking for
I needed this vacuum. I often drill into concrete flooring in my work, this produces a fine powder. If you use a vacuum without a filter you just end up blowing half of the powder into the air. The unit is also light and relatively compact allowing me to use it in areas that have limited space. The battery power adds to this versatility. I have a few Makita 18v tools and the fact this vacuum is made to use Makita batteries is a big plus with me. Although getting the battery out is more difficult than it should be.

Vacuums great.
Nice compact unit. Great vacuum, the problem is the battery connection. The battery is in a nice tight covered space. It slides in easy but once it is time to recharge the battery you are going to need more tools to get it out of the tight compartment. Needs a redesign.

Ah, man it's great to be without cords!
I buy a lot of junk cars and one of the first things I would do is go to the car wash and vacuum it out, or run an extension cord (3-4 of them) from my apartment all the way out to my parking spot... but now, all I got to do is grab my vacuum.... put the battery in it and go! I wish the battery lasted a bit longer, and I wish it was about half the price, but I can get 2 cars out of a charge. and with its attachments this does a good job!
