Rimmel London BB Cream with Brightening Effect, Light, 30ml, Pink

I have a light complexion but neutral to warm toned, and it can be tricky finding drugstore products that don't assume all light shades need to be pink/cool toned. I was therefore a bit worried when it arrived and the barcode sticker on the back of the tube had the word 'pink' in the description. The product itself is mostly neutral toned I'd say but maybe leans a little towards pinky/cool and if it were a full coverage foundation it would definitely not work for me. However, being a BB cream it is much more versatile and when applied to my face it somehow managed to dissappear into my skin tone whilst still being able to even out any discolouration. It provided a good base for blending in my undereye concealer, and my cream blush applied smoothly on top without risk of patching. Longevity seems pretty good - it's hard to tell with BB creams and other light coverage products but even at the end of a very long day I thought my skin still looked bright, clear and healthy. I have dry skin so it can often look dull/tired but this product gave me a fresh no-makeup makeup look (or the "clean girl aesthetic" as the kids are calling it 🙄). Just what I was looking for. To be completely honest, I have only used this once so far... So I will edit if I do change my mind on anything! But tbh for the price, it's definitely worth a try if you're on the fence.

This is lovely BB cream. Soft, light and easy to blend. I don't like foundation, as I find it to thick on my face. I ordered this in very light, and it is the perfect shade for my face. It's very sheer, and it gives your face a lovely glow. I will be ordering more, as I don't want to run out of the lovely cream. Great price. Highly recommend

I got this BB cream in very light shade and it's just perfect for my skin tone. It has light to medium coverage and looks natural on skin. The consistency is moderate -neither too thick nor too thin, so it's easy to blend and comfortable to wear all day. It is a bit on the dewy side, so is suitable for dry skin like mine, and doesn't cling to dry patches or look cakey. It doesn’t oxidise throughout the day and has no unpleasant orange undertones. It also contains SPF 15 for a bit of sun protection, though you may want to layer additional sunscreen if you're out in strong sunlight. Also, it offers good value for money. It won’t replace a full-coverage foundation but for me it is suitable for everyday natural look. Probably you can build it up in layers if you want extra coverage. Overall, it's a good mild to medium coverage cream suitable for daily natural look. Affordable!

Great BB cream, smells really nice and very easy to apply. A little goes a long way. Texture is very good and feels light on the skin, colour match is spot on, good value for money.

It provides full coverage, a little goes a long way. It’s more like a foundation or cc cream as opposed to a bb cream. You have to work quickly to blend it in. I applied it with fingertips upon first use. I had to apply my Clinique dramatically different moisturising lotion over the top of it after applying it to my face because it appeared to give a cakey finish. I chose medium shade as sometimes fair shades can be too light and I can end up looking ghost like. It provides full coverage, is heavy, dense, and does not provide enough moisture for my skin. Therefore for me it’s not a bb cream, but more of a foundation or cc cream. I like bb creams that are light and provide a nice sheen to skin. This is far too heavy for a bb cream. I personally won’t buy it again as for me it requires mixing with my facial moisturiser, so not cost effective either.

I’ve swapped out my usual foundation for this, the coverage is great in neutralising skin tone, not covering acne. It makes me look natural and healthy rather than clad in make up. I moisturise before application and my skin feels lovely all day - almost like I’m not wearing makeup up. Easy to use, I don’t use brushes, just apply with my hands like a moisturiser.

Love this however the light shade seems to be darker and more warm toned than when i first starded using this about 10 years ago. So this is not suitable for ivory/cool toned skin but great for warmer skin tones. Feels lovely on skin moisturising and has a light coverage.

This product is perfect for those who prefer a natural-looking complexion but want to even out their skin tone and hide blemishes. The dewy finish works wonders on dry skin, and the shade selection is impressive – I found a perfect match! The lightweight formula makes it ideal for use as a primer underneath foundation, and the added sunscreen protection is a bonus. However, I would recommend that the brand increases the SPF to offer stronger sun protection. Overall, this is one of my go-to products, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a natural look.

This is my favorite BB cream. Rimmel has discontinued this product and Amazon is the only place I can find it at a decent price. I love the coverage and how light weight it is. Application is nice and smooth. Great quality product.
