Neet Device! Works perfectly with my Harmony Touch. No need to fork out for the pricey upgrade to the Harmony Hub. Happy days!!
If your situation is similar to what mine was...I had purchased the Harmony Touch remote about a year ago,on its own, and after recently shifting some of my home cinema kit about resulting in having to place some behind closed cabinet doors I annoyingly realised that I would need an IR blaster of some sort.Naturally enough I was first drawn to the idea of upgrading to the Harmony Hub but very quickly realised that this would be quite costly and it would also mean it would come with yet another mains lead to add to my already minefield of cables at the back of my AV cabinet not to mention the need to free up another mains plug I quickly decided I would research other options. This brings me to the Neet IR Hub! I bought the 6 port even though only 4 devices are connected. For a little more money it gives me the option to connect any future devices whenever the upgrade bug hits! What I love about this device is...- Great price (Especially compared to and as an alternative to the Harmony Hub)- Quick delivery- No need for a mains lead and plug (Device connects and is powered conveniently by the spare USB socket at the back of my AV receiver)- Easy to set up although it takes a little bit of time (Finding the IR sensor on your equipment might be tricky as it's not always marked by the little IR logo)- The device itself is surprisingly about the size of a credit card, just much thicker of course!- There is no extra setting up with your Harmony Remote, works straight away once all in place- The main sensor has cleverly been designed to be attached to your T.V. relatively discreetly. It suits both slim and wider modern T.V. sets- It has ultimately sorted my problem with ease and at a much cheaper price- The device comes with Neet's Lifetime Warranty.Possible downsides...and its only me being picky...- Even though you get rid of the already mentioned hassle of a mains supply/lead you have to compromise with the cables that the little blaster probes are connected to. However these should be able to be hidden discreetly without hassle. You may need internal holes or gaps inside your cabinet to connect the probes to your relevant devices if they are in separate compartments within your AV unit. Thankfully I had. The fact that this is all behind closed doors, once its all set up you won't have to look at them again unless you have more devices to connect at a later stage. To summarise I am delighted with this product and would have no hassle recommending to any of my mates. The best thing is you don't need to shed out more cash to upgrade to the Harmony Hub. The remote itself is pricey enough! This is my first product by Neet and I will look into them in the future if needs be.Hopefully you will have found this review helpful! Thanks.

Brilliant...
All of my AV is tucked away in an obscured corner (a Sony AV Receiver and Blu-Ray player, Apple TV and Virgin Media V Box HD)... and this just totally solves my line-of-sight infra red remote issues. It was dead easy to set up. I just stuck the IR pickups on the sensors or anywhere there was an IR logo... plugged them into the control box and then stuck the main receiving IR pickup near the TV. The control box needs USB power so I plugged that into the V-Box's "What the hell's this for" USB socket and bingo. All set.The main receiving infra red 'eye' has an excellent range too... although - and maybe one to consider - its range was significantly lessened when I tried to place it in view inside a glass fronted cabinet (I guess glass to the IR eye is not quite as 'see-thru' as it appears). Outside however, even when placed underneath the cabinet and almost out of view, it was picking up signals from our Logitech Harmony remote even when facing the opposite direction. In any case, I can't recommend this enough if you need an IR repeater.

Uses usb power supply - a good thing.
Was disheartened to find no power supply included, but quickly found that this is a blessing. I found available usb ports on my TV and Virgin Tivo. Plugged it in to the virgin box and job done, works perfectly. I'm glad i dont have yet another 5v usb adaptor kicking around or occupying a mains socket. The unit comes with 1x IR receiver, and 2x IR transmitter connectors each breaking out into 3 individual IR transmitters for placing in front of each device, so 6 in total.I found that one transmitter was enough to talk to everything in the cabinet, possibly helped by having a white interior.

Works well, but....
I've a few niggles with this, but in the end it works very well and has resolved some issues with my setup, where the receiver, Sky box etc is hidden in the room behind where the screen is mounted. In particular, it works well with a Sky 1tb box where the IR sensor is notoriously difficult to locate and position an emitter over. The niggles? It's described as 6 port, but has only 2 connections on the hub itself, with triple headed emitter leads. I was hoping to use direct leads to feed the IR into a marantz player and a HK receiver. And the sockets are smaller than the standard for IR direct leads, requiring adapters, if there were enough ports...... The receiver lead is only 1m, which seems mean for a device designed to work with remote/hidden equipment, so I've had to use an extension cable. And the receiver head is a clunky design, which could easily have been more elegant. But the big sticker plate can be removed, leaving a smaller head which can be more easily hidden/disguised.Niggles, but ultimately it's doing a really good job.....
