Dyson DC35 Animal Handheld Digital Slim Vacuum Main Housing Body ?

I bought this as a replacement for my aging DC35 when it suddenly stopped working ( in future I’ll make sure the filter is bone dry before refitting). It now works as well as new.Be aware this unit uses a Type A clip in battery not a Type B screw in one. If your old unit is a Type B, as mine was, you’ll need to buy a new battery too which is another 28 quid or so. Mind you, if it’s over three years old, you’d probably need a new battery soon anyway. All the other parts (filter, cyclone unit, charging dock etc) are exactly the same.

Breathed life into my faithful 6 year old dyson! I bought this after the trigger on my dyson gave up. Though expensive it's much cheaper than buying a new machine, plus all my tools don't fit the new models. As the whole motor has been replaced, it's like a new machine and hopefully we will have many more happy years together!!!

So we couldn't afford to buy the latest Dyson when ours suddenly stopped, so after working out that the problem was the motor, I ordered this. Money well spent: my Dyson is like new. It has power and suction which we haven't seen for ages.

This is just what i needed, was going to throw my DC35 away as not working properly but took the plunge and tried this as a last resort and it works perfect would recommend

Replaces the Main Housing Body of my DC34 Animal. Motor included in the housing. Uses Type A battery (no screw). Cost effective solution to continue using my old Dyson vacuum cleaner on my car.

This is the incorrect device as it do not fit correctly. I can show photo to show the difference between the dc35 and the incorrect fitting that were sent.

My old Dyson DC-30 ceased to function. I was misguided to replace the battery, but it turned out to be a faulty motor. The battery was also over-utilized and perhaps that was the root-cause for improper charging and affecting the motor. All the accessories of DC-30 are compatible to this housing unit (DC35 Digital Slim). I had to buy also a new battery Type-B. Nevertheless, the overall cost for the (original) new motor and the (non-original) new battery were too small compared to buying a new model and/or through away all my Dyson accessories (extension rods, nozzles, radiator brush, pet-hair remover, mattress cleaning head etc etc. ). Overall extremely pleased with this item and the practically "upgrade" from my DC-30
