The chef knife was a gift to my son and purchased another for my daughter who both loved the storage container, but mostly the feel, weight and cutting abilities of the knife itself.Nice to see the testing efforts to ensure a product meets quality ratings from anti rust, corrison, sharpness etc. Made of German steel 4116.Sliced through tomatoes barely applying any pressure. Sliced steaks and chicken like it was butter. Overall, I believe this would be a great gift for anyone looking to add a nice addition to their knife collection. This knife is fantastic. Super sharp! I am usually not one to use very large knives but I really enjoy using this knife. Has a nice hand feel. Very high quality materials used. Comes in nice holding box. I am excited, because it seems like a knife that will be in my arsenal for a long time!

Razor sharp. Be careful when handling this knife. If you hand wash (use gloves to avoid cutting yourself), dry and put it back where it belongs, this will remains sharp for a long time. Of course you need to steel it while using and this knife is a chef knife. Don't hack bones and hard stuff with it.

So good my wife has been buying them for friends when she visits and realizes their sharpest knife can't cut a tomato.

Bought this last Christmas and to my surprise it stil holding a very sharp edge. It sits well on the hand and has tested durability very well. Happy camper
